i agree if those are the facts. no idea how much trust to put in uk police , structures and news. so im not having a definitive opinion there.

the article doesnt mention white.
in germany it is roughly 1 mio of children who are victims of sexual abuse and 10 mio kids.
that said, roughly 1 in 8 adults experienced sexual violence as a child. it seems the number is slowly going down because of less violent parenting in general.
the perpetrator are usually not gangs or something but the own family, teacher, caretakers etc.
disabled children have a much much much higher chance to be abused than non disabled ones.

side note:
some games need to be discovered by players. like hidden quests or hidden features. sometimes it takes the whole player base hours, sometimes years to solve those things.
prematurely releasing the server side code spoils this forever.
what about this: a game has to be actively used by the IP owner, otherwise it becomes public domain. shutting down servers means they dont use it anymore.

tbh im mostly thinking if being trans is genetically right now. i mean whats the chances of multiple trans kids by the same parents?
1/50 people is trans, roughly. hard to determine because or repression and stuff
2 people being trans is 1/2500
if it the occurance of trans sibblings is higher it might be genetic or something (i know there is probalby some proper research to this, but im to lazy to use a search engine rn. so im writing paragraphs online. )

no salt is bad. adding "to much" salt is a trend many cooks follow. peoples taste adjusts to more salt over time and they end up eating to much salt.

friend works in an NGO for development stuff in eas africa.
she claims:
1. past development work was horrorfying. more or less just colonialism in a trench coat
2. it is nonetheless a big reason why extreme poverty in the world went down significantly in the last 20 years (tbh actually pretty awesome to see the graphs. the other big reason is it is a huuuge market for companies to expand to. like u cannot ignore rural india or china anymore.
3. she claims they do constantly change and try to improve their work. like working together with people instead of telling people how to live their live. being as transparent as possible.
especially when it is a foreign government (usa in this case) working in another country i believe it should be transparent or not happening at all.
