Hi! This is my first free weekend in a long time. All projects were sent off yesterday, and I have no deadlines for a week! So I decided to try drawing with gouache for fun, which I never do anymore. I liked it so much, that I might continue doing so. Only one way to get better at it, right? Anyway, this here drawing is for for all the people who think moths are cool: A #clymene #moth. It looks like it's a true goth :D

Hello sweeties. Today I got a mail from my editor, that my next book - text and illustrations and all - was approved and will be available in autumn of 2025. And get this: It's going to be published in German AND English. How cool is that?!

I'm currently working on a book about a spider, which means I have to draw a loooot of webs. Drawing webs is super hard and takes time; I guess building them must be even harder, yet, spiders are super speedy in building them. Long story short: I have newfound respect for spiders.

You guys! I'm gonna be in Zürich from Monday to Tuesday. I'll have 4 hours on Tuesday morning for myself, before I'll have to catch the train back home. Any recommendations for a must see in Zürich? Preferably something that isn't too far from the train station and is open between 8 and 12 in the morning.

Hellö! I made a little drawing from in-between bigger projects for you. This one is called "The Moon King". In Germany, when mushrooms grow in a circle, it's called a circle of witches. I thought these witches would make a nice entourage for the Moon King.
