i still prefer the wei dai approach 2 lyfe. will sit and reason with myself. i guess my overall opinion of everything comes from a place of idk. cant word it. just know everyone and everything always asks 4 a piece of yur soul just to use it to an extent. this was basically my final stop before going full on luddite. as the internet and devices grow in popularity amongst the humans i find myself more and more uncomfortable with the idea of how much privacy they take away and ask of u. maybe after 20+ years online and living am just tired of it all no matter how good or positive it can be. i do love what u guys r doing and how held together u r. just probably not ready to gib a lot to anyone ot anything but myself. i domt even like the concept of money etc. im more of strawman, anon privacy focused being. hate govs, hate banks, hate systems, hate ideologies, hate suppression, hate oppression, hate gatekeeping, hate the word success, i might just hate the human experience right now after a life spent in the turmoil of humanity’s worst decisions in a millennia. if i choose to do nostr and btc i dont think id do it for personal gain or myself i think id find the way to do it for the people involved and for free. even i know my time isnt even my own. its good. i had a productive last 6 hours. will return or wont. cant say what the future holds. havent lived it yet.

cant say i know what any of that even means but im here doing the work and doing the proper road map so can’t speak on things that haven’t existed or dont exist yet as time in only linear. cults r cool tho.

only way 2 get the respect im starting to see is to do the hardware and show plus prove. its a great great concept. u contribute, u show legitimacy, u get better results. so cool. what excites me most about starting nostr is what if contribution and maximalism go so perfectly together. there is only one way to find for me and that is by doing. i think ill spin up my own relay, my own LN node, and channels etc. i didnt know the entry costs for all of this would be so low compared to a lot of other projects. its very neat. i can atleast see for now authentically i am on my journey to full fledged maximalism. i think naturally my contents of every post will be in part or most dedicated to that journey here.

so much new homework to do, so much new things to be open to, so much freedom, its so great with all the shake ups across the globe i think there will be new lights and new tunnels but always the same vehicle wink wink.

now after thinking about it. u t saying ones success here is metered and determined by the amount of maximalism branding they do? if that is true, how would u or ppl sniff out bad actors? what if the bad actors sybil against the common denominated rubric of expressing maximalism to extract maximum value of being a user? isn’t that like counter to the argument of free internet free tech free market and free open source services? im new here so im just trying to find out what user types r here, what ones r bad actors, what ones r good actors, what makes a good user, and what is the normal thing to do here. all the paid stuff and all the free services offerings r so neat to me. i just dont want to be one shotted into believing a lifestyle to is false and only wants me to pour money into a system for the purpose of seeding another’s pocket or even my own. majority of the time i just like being and being who i am freely. its fun here i do like it but i also like knowing the do’s and don’t’s. the current set up or the industry and a lot of heads on the chopping block so that means a lot of things could be up for a power vacuum set up. im new here but im not new to tech, programming, bitcoin, cypherpunk stuff, hacking, and other related topics.

also didnt maximalism spring out of the 2016 wars as a form of narrative and branding much like how theres the storage of value narrative etc etc i mean with the files coming out and the emails pertaining to it wouldnt this all be a byproduct of the actual jacking of the chain from the idealist and real cyphers?? a lot of counter arguements and finger pointing anf issues inside the system. i mean im not saying i believe ot even care to up hold others opinions and value but my own after proper understanding and proper analysis which i am capable of. just lime thinking a loud and seeing what the status quo is. u r one user who has given their opinion and i will sit on it for the time being and weigh it in my buckets until the next opinion comes along etc

so where r the free thinkers and builders at then that can operate freely without stipulations or constraints of systems? your statement is almost anti what the bitcoin and cypher mythos is. how could it be actually true or possible to operate in?? basically trading one master for a nother to an effect? how would u say that is actually plausible behavior for such an anti system anti centralized anti censorship movement or platform or lifestyle?? just more of the same then with different branding.

can u use nostr and not be a complete maximalist??? thats the interesting thing. its like asking can u use X and not be a right wing propagandist etc etc. many platforms have their core ethics and user bases i just wonder if all of it goes a little to far away from the free internet narrative that i am so comfy with but i am a knowledge digger and love to know and understand things. this will be a fun journey for me.

he is probaly not even real like bin laden and such. its like this trend sonce the 80’s of fake ppl who just show up online or in headlines and mysterious origins etc but some so connected and integrated but no one knows them or where they’re wealth comes from etc etc. the more attention u gib the matrix the more control it has over u.

i got it set up finally, and integrated into the protocol now. just looking over the documentation of the protocol on the site. early morning for me. watching drifting doc, setting up arch on laptop. smol things.

2026-02-05 02:53:44 UTC

#gm just waking up. it’s early morning here. i spent the last 2 hours watching the ethereum story doc. i had to revisit it. the news of vitaliks blog post was interesting enough for me. i also have seen the news and emails pertaining to the files, bitcoin, satoshi’s, and illicit funding.
i haven’t been able to program for 3 years now. life kind of did its thing. attention here, finish schooling there, traveling here, moving to there now. etc.
i think with my new found nomadic lifestyle, and evolutionary phase bashing itself out into normalcy. i just wonder where to pick up, where to go, and for what reasons. i came to nostr because i spent the last few years trading and chasing that white dragon. it got toxic and i needed the change.
so with all that info dumped. i now ask where to go from here, what is going with nostr community, how’s the sentiments with the plebs, and what’s the feelings like? i see such dramatic shift already just being here. it seems positive, welcoming, and like no one has taken the bait of “bitcoin hijacking” as stated by Ver.
if there r sentiments like a return to satoshis vision or a sort of mind state im not seeing rn i would welcome thoughts and ideas.
