My grandma showed me her mother’s yearbook, around 1912-15, and her mother’s picture was missing because she had cut it out. Her mother had told her she didn’t like the picture because she thought it was ugly. My grandma wished that she had the picture though. I bet even if you are ugly, the people that love you think you are beautiful. ❤️

Here are two pictures that show my progress from spinning novice to competent. On the cream bobbin the fuzzy wooly bit is the earliest and left is the latest and you can see what a LOT of hours of practice look like. In between the cream ball and the beautiful cranberry color are several hundred hours of practice! 🧶
