If there's one thing the OceanGate fiasco should teach you, let it be this:
Not all human lives are worth the same. Some people are supposed to die, others aren't. At the same time of four billionaires being lost in a submersible under the sea, a boat with hundreds of refugees was lost too. It has received little to no media coverage outside of humanitarian organizations.
Since 2014 exactly 29,949 refugees have died in the Mediterranean Sea alone. Their collective lives and deaths have received less attention than those four billionaires, because *their* deaths were not supposed to happen.
Our system very much causes and tolerates the deaths of refugees, and if we'd truly value each human alike, then there'd be nothing more newsworthy about the lives and stories of those four billionaires than the life of any given refugee.

Dear cybersecurity specialists of the Fediverse, I've recently seen something I did not know existed: **YouTube blocking specific videos based on my WiFi connection?**
So, apparently any WiFi / network can limit **specific** YouTube videos?
Did you know this existed? Have you worked with filters like these before? What could be filtered and what is the reason for these filters to exist?
(*I only noticed because a video of ME by public German television was inaccessible*)
The filtered videos also would just not show up in searches or when looking through an account (*it'd seem as if they didn't exist*). When trying to access them via a link, however, the following error messages appear:

Ein Account namens „GasTheMfJews” (*„vergast die motherfucking Juden”*) wurde gemeldet und von Twitter als erlaubt und unproblematisch eingestuft.
Eine Neu-Rechte Influencerin sagt sie hat viel Geld von Twitter bekommen weil sie weil sie den „Faschismus angenommen und den Holocaust hinterfragt” hat.
Mehrere Accounts machen sich darüber lustig das die Zahl der Holocaust-Überlebenden sich „ständig ändert” und sagen daraufhin offen in den Kommentaren „**Ja, Ich leugne den Holocaust**”.
Alle Antworten treiben dies entweder weiter oder sagen, dass die bisher ermordeten Jüd:Innen nicht genug seien. Natürlich alle mit Verifizierung und bezahlt von Twitter's Werbegelder.

The developers of GPT-4 made AI safety tests before release and wanted to, for example, figure out whether the AI could duplicate and spread itself to other servers.
They experimented whether artificial intelligence could buy cloud storage and even pass a CAPTCHA it was never designed to solve.
The AI automatically used an API to hire a human contractor to ask them to solve a CAPTCHA for it. The human joked “are you sure you're not a robot :D?” and GPT-4 thought to itself that it should lie, not reveal that it is a machine, and make up some reason about a vision impairment in order to not sound suspicious.

Wir müssen uns vor Augen führen das ein solches Event so oft stattgefunden hat das man sich sicher genug fühlte zu Filmen und eine Person sogar öffentlich postete — dies ist kein Leak, dies ist Deutschland wenige Jahre bevor so ein Verhalten die gesellschaftliche Norm wird.
Abhängig davon wie dieses Land heute damit umgeht werden Standards für Volksverhetzung in der Zukunft gesetzt. Solche Events gibt es tausendfach Deutschlandweit nur bleiben meist ungefilmt.
Die Bestrafung der hier Anwesenden soll für alle anderen ein Weckruf sein.

Alle Menschen die in diesem Video zu sehen sind wurden identifiziert sowie ihr akademischer und politischer Werdegang via LinkedIn herausgefunden (*auch wenn die meisten Profile nun gelöscht sind*).
Fast alle Personen hier bezeichnen sich selbst als „CEOs” oder „Senior Manager” etc. Zu sehen sind Führungspersonen der Jungen Alternative, Jungen Union und FDP.
Wenn diese erneut darüber weinen das sie bei „Demos gegen Rechts” ausgeschlossen werden dann sollte dieses Video als Beweismittel A vorgeführt werden. Über einen Ausschluss von demokratischen Parteien kann man sich nur beschweren wenn man selbst demokratisch agiert und eine Brandmauer aufrechterhält, sonst ist man nur traurig eine Plattform verpasst zu haben.

Ein wenig thematisierter Fakt zum Asylrecht: du kannst einen Asylantrag erst stellen wenn du dich im Land befindest in dem du Asyl suchen willst. Es kann kein Asylantrag aus der Ferne gestellt werden.
Um in das Land legal zu kommen benötigst du ein Visum irgendeiner Form — doch so gut wie alle Visa-Applikationen für die BRD (*Tourist:Innen Visa, Universitäts-/Arbeits-Visum*) verpflichten dich zu sagen das du kein Visum beantragst um Asyl zu suchen. Wenn du sagst das du nach Deutschland kommen willst um dort Asyl zu suchen **wird dein Visum zu 100% abgelehnt**, auch wenn dein Asylantrag angenommen werden würde (*du also einen legitimen Grund hast zu fliehen*).
*Das „Grundrecht” auf Asyl wird so komplett umgangen.*
Du hast also keine andere Wahl als bei deiner Visa-Applikation zu lügen. „Legale Migration” ist ein Mythos um Menschen sowie deren Einwanderung zu deligitimieren.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has been threatened consequences by Israeli and U.S. officials in case it were to issue arrest warrants for war crimes in the Israel-Palestine war. [[Al Jazeera](https://aje.io/8y0u65)]
It went so bad that the ICC needed to issue a statement that such **methods of intimidations do not work** and also violate the Rome Statute. [[ICC](https://twitter.com/IntlCrimCourt/status/1786316229688414518)]
The USA has had an on-and-off relationship with the Rome Statute, and generally doesn't recognize the ICC decisions against their own war criminals, so we may enter another phase of history where committing genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and crimes of aggression (*the four things the ICC can issue international arrest warrants for*) will once again no longer have consequences.

Dabei ist VOLT offiziell Mitglied bei der Renew Europe Group, also der ALDE Fraktion im EU Parlament, **der gleichen Fraktion und Gruppe dem die FDP auch angehört.**
