I couldn't visit Joshua Tree Parks and NOT go to Mastodon Peak!
So here it is!
It's in a more arid part of the park so there isn't many Joshua tree there.
But it's quite a sight anyway!
I spent almost 1 hour on the peak, completely alone, enjoying the silence of the desert (yes, apart from the wind there's no sound, it's eerie and wonderful).

I'm disappointed by the Amtrack "Southwest Chief" train going from Chicago to LA through Kansas City, Albuquerque, Flagstaff...
The landscapes are pretty unremarkable and you certainly have time to see how unremarkable they are since the train goes at 50-70mph.
However it's perfect to understand the immensity of this country.
I don't think Europeans truly understand how absolutely huge... and empty the USA are.

The thinner the more squares people will use which in the end might cost more on the long run than a thicker/less square TP.

When thunderstorms were forecast a month ago I just used whatever I had at hand to save water.
Storage bins.
They're like $40 for 50 gallons.
Is it prefect? No.
But during the heat wave last week I didn't have to use city water for my garden once.
And I had water left when it rained this morning! (they're now full again).

In France in the 80s Volkswagen promoted the Polo under the nickname "La Fourmi" (the Ant).

My husband had a medical procedure done today.
He profusely thanked the nurse who helped him when we left.
Once in the car he told me this nurse has breast cancer.
It has metastasized to her brain and she needs to have chemo every 3 weeks.
She does it Friday evenings to make sure she won't miss a day's work.
Because if she stops working she loses coverage.

Long story short there's a possibility that I end up in #Malaysia in a couple of years.
My problem:
Can I get testosterone and even maybe #trans care at a private clinic?
I know public hospitals are out of the question.
Also I haven't legally changed my gender so I don't know if "as a woman" I can get #testosterone for "menopause issues"?
Boost won't change your life but it will help mine and in a world full of transphobes it does make a difference.🙏

Corporations do not have political allegiance.
They don't give a fuck who uses their service, Palestinians or Nazi as long as they make money.
Which is why the left & the right complain about it.
Keeping people ignorant making them easier to manipulate & exploit is their default business model.
