Just having an avenue for new people would be an improvement. Some would have to be better than those they replace. Many young Democrats are more progressive. Then Biden changed the message to falsely say that masks were not needed if fully vaccinated. This was also done in other countries.

As Democrats consider the 2028 nomination process they must stop their actions to influence the outcome. Their rigging of primaries both leads to poor candidates & alienates many potential voters. They also must learn to stop blaming voters who reject their candidates--that is not how democracy works.

Centrist Democrats restrict civil liberties. They don't allow fair primaries. They fight to keep third parties off the ballot. They support endless wars and genocide. They are just as fascist as Republicans.

Democrats have been working for years to shut down discussion of opposing ideas, including ideas held by many Democratic voters. This is certainly not limited to Reddit but these rules from r/democrats but show how Democrats wish to censor progressive ideas and close the Overton window as they move to the right.
