Morality is coercive. Work is moral, sloth is immoral, but men work because they must.
Of course your girls must choose, but this choice cannot be open. If the choice is, “become a wife or party as a coed,” your daughter will never make the right decision. If it is, “become a wife or die alone on fentanyl or try to go to college and [redacted],” the correct path becomes much more appealing.

After responding to StarProphet (he did not mention you), the subject of debate was the importance of understanding what "Logos" meant, not your use of an English Bible.
In any case, no worries. Fedi discussions can get heated sometimes, but we do agree on more things than we disagree. That's why we're here in the first place!

Ok, normally I would end the conversation, but since you mentioned the Creed:
"And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God...[NAS character count limitation]...Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man"
So yeah, the Creed does require you to say that Christ was the Logos acquiring a human nature.

This is Fedi: we are not talking about living a Christian life, we are discussing theory on a fringe site.
Also, this is not some “internet controversy,” this discussion goes all the way back to St. Gregory Palamas and his discourses with Barlaam and how he accurately predicted how Western Europe would become Atheist almost 7 centuries ago.
The primary purpose of Fedi is precisely these sorts of discussions; we operate as a collective Dissident Right think tank.

Lacking an understanding of “Logos” does in fact change the gospel.
The Logos is not “logic” or an “impersonal force” which the Pagans and the Latinizers think.
The Logos is a person, by whom all things in this world relate back to God. Christ is the person of the Logos taking on a human nature.
If Logos is just “logic,” “the word,” impersonal “objective” reality, then why not just keep "logic" and throw away God—
—which is exactly what the Enlightenment was all about!

“Lie” is a harsh word, but just to clarify:
Understanding the nuances of words is the purpose of study bibles. The Orthodox Study Bible refers to the Church Fathers for this purpose. Because of ZOG, the study bible explicitly avoids ZOG subjects, but overall the study bible is solid.
One does not need to learn Greek, but one cannot understand Logos without understanding what the actual Church Fathers meant by Logos (different from the Pagan and Latinized understandings).

Reading the Lives of the Saints, the only non-monastics ones I can relate to are the Royal Saints. War, power, and aristocratic privilege carry over to the modern age.
Any replacement worldview to Progressivism must have a goal, a struggle, a promise, a justification and reason to wage war.
The problem with snowy barns is that there is no struggle, no war, no quest for power, no way of life to emulate.
Any faith whose goal lacks the element of war is a dead faith.
