This book, in one paragraph says (paraphrased) 'child porn depicts children as wanting sex which can make abusers rationalize their actions' and in the next 'child porn focuses solely on the genitals and the children depicted appear frightened and confused and are clearly taking direction from someone off camera'
And while I know these can both be true statements about some child porn, I doubt that it's often the same pieces. I find anyone who thinks it's not worth including valid qualifiers like "some" "most" etc. to be untrustworthy as they frequently state as fact things that are simply untrue without making a bevy of assumptions.

The biggest difference of opinion that started your discussion was what counts as punishment.
However at the point where I started talking, you had been discussing moderation of pedi instances. Specifically kicking out literal antis.
And let me just say, for my part. I'm very comfortable with them being murdered. I don't see that as a punishment. It's simply making the world a little better. However I am staunchly of the opinion that for a murder to be acceptable, the one who wishes for it must do it themselves. If the state made it easy for me by saying "it's illegal to be an anti and we execute them" I still would never call the police. And I'm not saying "lets kick out antis" either. I'm just saying, it's silly to think you won't make enemies *just* because your idea of justice is non-punitive.
Now I do see what you were saying, which is that you'll continue to advocate for no system of justice, no system of governance. And great, I agree. But even then I believe there will be violence and people who see eachother as enemies. And I say, great, let them fight. But lets not pretend that some perfect system exists that will result in no tragedy, in no sorrow, or that if our system is just so, that we can dismiss the reality that we're the enemies of whoever doesn't fit within that system.
And Remedy, if I'm confusing you, it's probably because you're expecting me to disagree with you more than I'm actually doing. There's little difference between us imo, aside from me being long winded and subtle (sometimes).
Right now, we're standing in the garden, discussing walls and weeding. While outside many people freeze and burn and get blown to bits. But it's not magic, people inside the garden suffer, hate, and die just the same, and people in wars, they can love, and make art, and live the last fleeting moments of their lives.

Like, I get how that looks in context. But that's not a good thing. It's antis building it and what I'm implying here is that those we reject won't help us deal with our actual enemies. That doesn't mean we should just let them build the trebuchet in here. But rather I'm saying I question all this talk of peacefulness and redemption while having a wall that keeps us from seeing the real threats we face and I wonder about the expression "it's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war."

To anyone wondering why AI drives up the prices of groceries and other regular goods. Gas. Our electric grid runs on it, ai companies have built extra, sometimes secret, power plants to burn more gas to power their servers. The way everything gets to you is through shipping, that means boats, trains and trucks, all of them running on (mostly) gas. The price of delivery gets added to the final sale price. Gas prices go up when there's less gas available or more being bought (supply and demand) so when you use AI you drive up the price of everything else.
Additionally there's a dragon sitting on top of every company and every time the price must naturally rise, he tells them to raise it 3 times as much so he can eat the extra.

it doesn't matter. It's good to spread awareness of this space for potential maps in the wild, but you shouldn't feed these directly to antis. They could be sharing screenshots of your conversation just like you are but with groups of actual dedicated antis.
I'm also worried that by being so willing to have a long discussion with an anti that you'll become a target for them. Most of the people I know who were here as teenagers were really badly stalked and harassed by antis including finding and sending letters to their parents outing them and making threats and promises in DMs to try to weaponize minors against our community.

I've met exactly 1 set of parents aside from my own that I didn't think was abusive. 1 kid, who seemed like her parents were generally kind and supportive. That's it, everyone else, parents or people with parents that I've met, there was some reason I thought they were abusers or abused respectively.

You're wrong to conflate cowardice with risk averse.
One should be able to decide flexibly to be risk averse or to take risks depending on the situation. The fear that leads to the violence of calling someone a coward is that prioritizing being risk averse over all else will prevent the one being called a coward from making good choices, but of course good is subjective and likely the perspective of the insulter. It's seen as weakness and potentially a moral failing.
I messed up by getting my personal perspective involved, it's just because I called someone a coward recently and honestly I'm fed up with people justifying every level of violence they commit through the lens of safety. People die, and living under some authoritarian regime because they don't wanna has me irked.

I mean, maybe we're getting to the crux of your lack of understanding of the insult then. Every insult ultimately relies on the idea that the person doing the insulting doesn't like whatever trait they're framing in a negative light.
I did type a lot more than "I personally despise it" so it does feel like you're ignoring the majority of my points now. But that's how it always is, there's no objective good or bad, it's always gonna boil down to personal opinion if you dig deep enough into why you consider something good or bad.
You value "truth" so you'll typically think of things as good if they're true and bad if they're false, but I am curious now what your opinion is on things that are not debated on a basis of true and false. I don't have a good example off the top of my head though.
