Put your sunglasses on 😎 — Light mode is here!
If you have your system set to Light mode the next time you open Questlog the page will show you the new light mode. If you want to persist a specific theme you can to it in your user menu (Or if not logged in, in the footer).
This setting is device specific and not account specific. So if you like light mode on desktop and dark mode on mobile (like me) you can absolutely do this.
You're also able to like events now as this was a requests from some of you. And if an event is currently running, it's shown on the home page.
There are many more small changes. The full changelog is in the blog post.

Look what just dropped — Questlog 0.41.0!
You can now search for Playlists. A feature some people asked for a while ago and especially one user with over 150 playlists will like.
This search is also implemented in the playlist picker when you add a game to a playlist, making it much easier to add games to your lists, when you have a bunch of them.
On the way I also fixed some bugs you reported to me over the last days.

Hi there!
Questlog 0.40.0 just dropped.
It's mainly a visual update (hopefully an upgrade) based on this old post I replying to. I sneaked in a few other improvements and fixes. And I finally feel more energy and motiviation again to work on Questlog. The last months were quite hard, but I think I did it. 🤞

Speaking of mental health, I can highly recommend playing Wanderstop.
It's really great, cozy and wholesome. And it definitely hits the spot for people suffering from burnout. I can relate so much to the protagonist. 😅
The soundtrack is also extremely good.

Hi there. I've just decided to relase the finish date feature prematuraly. I don't have the time and energy to work it out completely currently, but I want you (and me) to be able to set the date when we've finished a game.
So starting today you can set the date, after selecting the finished status.
The date is completely optional and doesn't do much currently. But it's a start and if I don't release it now it will probably take another few weeks.
I also fixed some smaller (and bigger) bugs.

I have to say: I quite enjoy the discourse with you on features. It really helps me to think better about what I want to implement.
Two hours ago I had no idea how to implement a finished date and was quite of afraid to tackle the issue. But now I have a pretty clear understanding of how I want to implement it and how it's as frictionless for everyone :D
Thank you for your time. Please keep your feedback coming. I definitely won't just add everything that is thrown at me. But I will write it down and think about it. :)

I just released another update.
Questlog 0.36 brings some improvements to filters.
It's now finally possible to filter games per play status? Ever wanted to know which action games from Nintendo you've finished? Now it's pretty easy to know.
Also the new Release pages got some improvements.
You can now also filter the Recent release and Upcoming Release listings to make it even easier to get an overview.
Also the title for groups on release listings is now sticky to better keep track where you are.

Hi there.
As you may have realized the updates on Questlog are quite slow currently. Despite a wave of depressive episodes this has just to do with me handling Questlog again like a work project instead of a hobby.
Every time I dedicate my time to a specific update because of user feedback that is a bit bigger, I do nothing instead. My head always drives around smaller updates I want to do but I always say to myself: »No, I said the next one is X so I can't do Y or Z right now.«
So the result is, I do nothing.

I do Questlog as a hobby on my own next to my job, using my own money and free time. But I also want you to have fun and be part of Questlog.
This split is challenging for me, so for a while I will concentrate more on stuff I really want to do because I "need" it in Questlog myself. That was the main reason I started Questlog.
I'm still open to feedback, but I won't commit to anything in a certain timeframe or as the next thing for the time being.

Questlog 0.28 brings us simplified reviews, platforms in reviews and a bunch of smaller changes that (hopefully) make your life easier.
For example: Easier navigation on profiles, more speed, more consistent design etc etc.
