NIPs

Add section on deletion #2260 staab

This proposal introduces a standardized way to create and manage "Groups" on Nostr where a group has an owner (or admins) who can control membership and moderate content. This is a significant shift from the standard "global feed" or "relay-wide" experience, moving toward a community structure similar to Subreddits, Discord servers, or Telegram groups.

Add NIP-AA: Autonomous Agents on Nostr #2259 Yadunandan Batchu This proposal aims to establish a standardized framework for AI agents to operate as "self-sovereign" participants within the Nostr ecosystem, moving beyond simple scripts to entities with verifiable identity and economic agency.

nip70: reposts that embed protected events must be rejected fiatjaf

The PR clarifies the behavior of relays when handling reposts (Kind 6 or Kind 16) that contain protected events (events with a - tag as defined in NIP-70). The Rule: If a user attempts to publish a repost event that embeds the full content of a protected event, the relay must reject that repost. The Reason: NIP-70 is designed to prevent the unauthorized distribution of content that a user has marked as "protected." If a relay allowed a repost to embed the content of a protected event, it would bypass the protection mechanism by making the private/protected content available to everyone who sees the repost.

Long-Form Content Eco

In the past two weeks, approximately 26,597 kind 30023 events have been tracked (long-form articles), with over 45% being Bitcoin related articles and 55% related to Nostr and other topics across the Nostr Ecosystem.

The core discussion around decentralized technologies still revovles from theoretical utility to the urgent pursuit of systemic Peace. We are witnessing a definitive move away from the fragile, centralized Banking system toward resilient, user-driven financial models. While Bitcoin price volatility occasionally generates noise, the core community remains focused on the signal: a borderless, decentralized network that offers an escape from legacy banking failures and a peaceful pathway to true financial sovereignty.

Nostr Education and Grassroots Growth As the ecosystem expands, the focus has pivoted from chaotic development to structured Nostr Education. With a massive influx of new users stepping away from traditional platforms, the challenge is filtering out the noise and providing clear, foundational guidance.

The Role of Meetups Summaries: Detailed Meetups summaries have become critical tools for this educational push. By distilling complex cryptographic and networking concepts into accessible, shared knowledge, these summaries ensure that growing communities truly understand the underlying protocols rather than just skimming the surface.

Building Resilient Communities: This grassroots approach to teaching lowers the barrier to entry while maintaining the critical thinking required to navigate decentralized spaces safely.

Talks of WW3: Directing at Iran, it's neigbouring countries and the US.

Decentralizing Art: Redefining Music Value To support this cultural shift, the infrastructure is evolving beyond text to protect and monetize Music value. Decentralized networks and value-for-value (V4V) models are solving the traditional distribution problem, allowing artists to share their work directly with listeners. By bypassing traditional Banking gatekeepers and corporate streaming monopolies, creators ensure their music retains its true worth, blending digital sovereignty with pure artistic expression.

Thank you,

and others, for your work. Enriching Nostr’s long-form content ecosystem is crucial.
