I'd got the false impression from your original thread that you were leaning more heavily on the first.
Not that you asked, but FWIW I agree with the second as a general principle, although I think a case can be made that “tech bro ideology/TESCREAL“ (and by extension “AI” specifically as a shorthand for that) does meet quite a few of the specific analytic criteria for fascism proper. Not that everyone who calls AI fascist does actually make that case, never mind make it convincingly, but that's a different story, and not something we need to discuss.
