People who liked quote-tweets and who like the idea of quote-boosts here generally want them because readers will see the comment or joke and the earlier post it refers to in the same time, in a can’t-miss-it presentation. I’m attaching a screenshot that shows what this looks like in Ivory (a client that already supports pseudo-quote-posts).
