oh yeah, rss works. The only reason to do anything nostr IMHO is to take advantage of nostr specific features.
What can you do on nostr that you can't do on a https server with rss?
In my mind, the biggest answer is content delivery without super reliance on DNS (let's ignore that relays have DNS names for a moment).
Otherwise, I'm not sure what's the benefit tbh. Someone on nostr might zap you 3 sats 🤷♂️
