Summary:
James Cridland (npub13cg…ck4q), some hosting and myself use both tag for different information:
- description is for raw text and a short description of the show
- content:encoded is for (full) HTML - and is normally much longer.
Justin Jackson (npub1a4f…0pct) and #Buzzsprout were in favor of deprecate content:encoded to avoid duplication.
PD: For me the problem are the hosting that duplicate the same info, if you only have one field to fill, just publish it on the description tag.
