All lnaddress splits are now payable from the Fountain app.
Please give this a test if you have feeds with an lnaddress split and let me know if you see any issues.
On the metadata sharing - as there doesn't seem to be consensus yet we are just putting the Fountain episode link in the invoice memo along with a truncated message.

the code is completely ready and working - I haven't deployed it to production yet though as just want to do some final tests - but by Monday it will be live for all users.

yes publisher feeds - https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/podcast-namespace/blob/main/docs/1.0.md#publisher
It would be up to apps how to display this - but if you had a publisher feed with remoteItems linking to different shows you could choose to display all the episodes from all shows

- connect wallet via oauth (Strike or Alby)
PAYMENTS:
- generate payment event (many libraries to make this easy)
- request bolt11 invoice
- pay bolt11 invoice

@npub1fmx…wp74 FYI - the latest <liveItem> in the No Agenda feed has an empty value block - https://feeds.noagendaassets.com/noagenda.xml
This caused quite a big issue for Fountain users because it crashed the new episode syncing - I've added additional checks on our backend for this edge case now but thought I'd let you know!

I believe yes because if you're running something like the new alby hub then that will manage all the invoice creation for you but it would be great if alby could confirm this. I think I've seen demos of it running on umbrel/start9.
I think then we give users the most optimal choice:
- strike / cash-app oauth for easy custodial onboarding
- the choice to go self-custodial with something like an alby hub where it's a bit more involved / maybe has a fee but can run yourself

I've been thinking about the recent discussions around payments onboarding for apps and podcasters.
Whilst ecash could be a solution - I think the easiest way to move forward would be to include normal BOLT11 lightning invoices in the value block.
This would solve onboarding completely:
- podcasters could signup to cash app / strike and start receiving to their wallets instantly (+ withdraw dollars)
- apps can use the oauth integrations to let users pay bolt11 invoices from the podcast app

@npub1rcn…dw4h I'm seeing a 500 server error on the endpoint /api/1.0/episodes/byfeedid?id=352598
It's causing this feed not to load - https://podcastindex.org/podcast/352598
What's odd is that it was working fine earlier, but as soon as a new episode dropped 15 minutes ago the endpoint started returning 500.
I believe this is the also cause of new episode delays users have been reporting for this show. Interesting that it seems to resolve itself after a few hours so not sure if it's some kind of sync bottleneck?
