At my college the usual suspects for anything requiring brawn were the Rugby club. But we also had an Outdoor Activities club that specialised in climbing things. There was a huge tree on campus, like a Christmas tree but 30m high. A common stunt was to put a plastic dustbin upside down on top of it. Until it was banned and dire threats issued, whereupon the bin was replaced with a different colour every night for a week.
