Wikipedia describes the jump scare in the last scene of the movie like this:

"Suddenly, Carrie's bloody arm reaches from beneath the rubble and grabs Sue, who, screaming, wakes up in her bed, as her mother tries to comfort her from the nightmare."

It doesn't mention that Sue's mother grabbed her arm in exactly the same place that Carrie was grabbing it in her nightmare. Sue stares at it in horror.
She can wake up, but the nightmare is still going to be with her. Great bit of filmmaking.
