I agree with blocking Tariq if he insists the thread turn to a rant about 'what the USA does overseas'. The US has done sordid things.
But what's urgent is 'how can good people survive and defeat the fascist onslaught'.
If we're going to abandon that concern by turning to pro-Dem vs anti-Dem, then we are like 2 sparrows wrestling on pavement while an 18-wheeler rolls over them.
Tariq should start a different thread about Dems and the MidEast .
