IKITAO is a word I coined by bringing together ikigai (生き甲斐), the Japanese concept of purpose or what makes life worth living, and Tao (道), the Chinese concept of “the Way,” living in harmony with the nature of things.
At its simplest, IKITAO means living your purpose in harmony with life.

Late hours, others peoples kitchens and the cats don't seem that much around today. Accepting ones own exhaustion and desire to rest. Day's been long, memories still aren't fully sorted. Ongoing tasks in between here and sleep. Have a calm night everyone wherever you are.

Ofir Akunis, Israel’s Consul General in New York, has invited Mayor Zohran Mamdani to watch the IDF’s 47-minute film compiled from GoPro footage recorded by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 attack.

It starts with a decision. :)
Not sure if you saw the video I posted here and on YouTube yesterday, but it's just the beginning. I've shared some posts about the equipment, and I have more videos I'm editing that go deeper into the build and preparation.
I also plan to cover the practical side of making this kind of life possible: equipment, domicile and legal residency, mail forwarding, vehicle registration and insurance, creating income on the road, finding and building community, living with pets, and everything else I learn along the way.
I'll be documenting the journey here and on YouTube for now. I may expand to other platforms later, but I want to keep things simple in the beginning.
You can find it all at AvaAum.com and easily follow it under the hashtag #AvaAum. The website will be up shortly.
Right now, I'm just getting into the swing of filming, editing, and actually getting these videos out. 😂
The deeper philosophy behind how I approach all of this is IKITAO, an operating system for life that I've been developing for decades around discovering what actually matters, living deliberately, becoming self-sovereign both inside and out, and bringing the way we live into greater alignment with the life we are here to live.
You can find that at IKITAO.com and under #IKITAO. That website will be up shortly as well.
I live the life. IKITAO distills the Way.

I was very pleased with the outcome, using only a two-liner prompt. Everyone looks good and raggedy like I asked, except for Ghost who is a golden god lol (for now)

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said two civilian vessels were struck in Bulgarian waters overnight, with one sinking and the other sustaining significant damage.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s Navy contacted its Bulgarian counterparts and confirmed that the vessels were targeted in a combined Russian attack involving naval and aerial drones.
Zelenskyy said Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted no operations in that area of the Black Sea and described the incident as part of Russia’s efforts to make the western Black Sea unsuitable for navigation.
You made a BBS? Very good to hear that. This can only mean that you tried what you really liked and i like this way. I have not worked with a BBS, but i do have a friend who had one for years, maybe he still has it, and i had connected to it through internet. I will ask him and come back.
Seven months before Israel’s pager attack, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah warned his fighters to stop carrying cell phones, calling them a major security vulnerability.
Nasrallah warned:
“Your cell phone is a lethal collaborator.”
“[Israel] does not need human collaborators, because people carry cell phones with them wherever they go.”
“Disable it, bury it, lock it in a metal box.”
“The cell phones you, your wife, and your children hold are the collaborators.”
Hezbollah subsequently shifted to using pagers instead.

Iran may be attempting to rebuild nuclear weapons-related development capabilities at the Minzadayi site, northeast of Tehran, following Israeli strikes on March 3, 2026.
High-resolution satellite imagery from September and October reportedly shows extensive cleanup, repairs, earthmoving activity, and renewed vehicle movements at the compound.
The IDF previously identified the site as a covert facility involved in developing key components for nuclear weapons.
The activity could indicate that Iran is attempting to restore elements of its nuclear warhead research and development program.
