Ah, I am generally an Android guy. When I have played around with iOS, though, Damus and Nostur really impressed me. Was very hopeful when Damus came to Android, but so far... much disappointed.
I don't think it's any one thing, but a combination of factors.

I streamed it with lightning and although the idea was cool the implementation was clunky. It estimated how much it would be up front and I paid the invoice to get access. twice during it I ran out of sats and had to re-up. I didn’t do the math but it seems like that should have been worked out from the start I feel like I paid more than i originally intended to. Also, two other times it kicked me out for no reason and I had to go back to the movie to continue watching. Very cool idea, but not without bugs. @nprofile…ed4y
I share this to help them make it better, not to disparage the product.
