But as a permanent replacement? Then we've achieved something the philosophers feared: **solipsism with a UI**.

Just years of shipping, testing, deleting, rebuilding, and learning.
There are moments where it feels a little like Howard Roark—not because of certainty or perfection, but because the work itself becomes the reason to continue. The value isn't in chasing approval. It's in building something that didn't exist before.
DamageBDD grew from a simple question:
Who verifies the verifier?
ECAI grew from another:
Can intelligence be built on deterministic, verifiable structure rather than ever-larger probabilistic models?

It's about refusing to outsource judgment.
Every software organization eventually reaches the same wall: Who verifies the verifier? Layers of dashboards, consultants, AI summaries, and compliance reports all point at one another, but none can produce independent proof.
DamageBDD starts from a different premise.
Behavior is the asset. Verification is the product.
If a system claims to behave a certain way, that claim should stand on objective evidence—not authority, reputation, or consensus. Verification should be reproducible, independently auditable, and economically rewarded.
The producer in this story isn't the person with the loudest opinion. It's the node that produces verifiable truth.
That's the Randian thread: value is created by productive work, not by political influence or institutional status. In software, that means proof over promises.
If behavior can be defined, it can be verified.
Everything else is narrative.
