I am always astounded by how eating lunch makes me feel a million times better no matter what the issue is 😂
I think there's value in intentionally using this ability for scientific purposes, but it also helps socially. I frequently use it with my wife to understand her needs. I'm probably autistic as fuck and couldn't maintain relationships without doing this. It's exhausting but good for me overall.

Have to hard disagree. UX is much more important than many people realize when it comes to building a functional app that keeps pace with its users. The desktop and mobile apps sync poorly, and are slow to show updates when payments are made. Buttons often don’t work, the app freezes, and there isn’t even a dedicated Apple Silicon build. I’m looking at it right now, and it’s a broken piece of software.

It literally means the same thing in a sense. When subscriptions ask "why are you cancelling" and one of the options is "too expensive," I'm always confused. Like yes that's always true. I don't want to spend my money just to spend it!
It's primarily a land-use tax in exchange for holding title, so long as you agree to the common law, mediation rules, and help provide for a common defense.
I understand that anarchists don't want a common defense and therefore also don't want taxes, but this is the way they medieval (and modern) city-states work. It's effectively what a state simply is.
You become a Bürger or Freibauer by paying the tax according to how much real estate you control, and by personally fighting (or providing fighters from your family or staff) when the city is attacked. And helping repair the walls and other defenses, or paying for that repair, etc.
Everything else modern states do are add-ons, but defense is the one thing a state cannot abandon without ceasing to be a state because then it cannot defend the borders that define the territory.
But yeah people are stupid. The value you can get from kids is huge. Hard to articulate. And part of that value is you get potential cheap laborers around the house!

It’s the natural product cycle. Things start off great with a founder building the product who makes good decisions. Then they get a team and must move up market and must find a way to charge more for the same product to support salaries.
For teams it’s absolute shit. They use dark pattern pricing too to trick you into upgrading. Started out good but turned to shit. Team UX barely ok.

Pragmatism is a parasitic ethic that cannot offer answers, and leads one to always shift the rules and the stances.
