I'm unhappy with whatever clown came up with the blinking yellow left-arrow (traffic light). 🚦
Because now we risk confusing a flashing yellow arrow with a solid yellow arrow.
This is an important determination to make in the hustle and bustle of traffic. Especially when we have to wait a second before knowing whether it's solid or flashing.
The color concept is good, but the flashing concept is too much to figure in a half-second. (With the exception of red, because we have to stop anyway.)
If this is real it is genius.

They're so good at this money thing. Imagine putting limits on money like "honesty" and "responsibility." It's all the same. Why would you use Bitcoin itself as the token when you can use something that represents the Bitcoin instead? Both serve the function of money.

前幾天我收到來自一個小伙伴的一封信。信裡她談到她現在工作中大量使用AI，而這一年來的技術更新實在太快了，有種被潮水推著走的感覺。而最有意思的是，明明用AI提效了很多，但感覺比用AI前更疲憊了。
我和她說，雖然現在沒幾天就能冒出一個號稱能改變世界的AI技術進步，但你完全可以忽略它們，因為AI出現後，接下來的故事已經和AI沒關係了。
說沒關係不是說我們要拒絕使用AI，我們會擁抱變化。同時在擁抱中，我們發現AI的使用並不同於過去的機器。一台陌生的機器，你要學習怎麼使用，什麼時候拉這個拉桿，什麼情況按那個按鈕。AI不需要這些，現在你只要會說話/打字，就可以順暢使用。技術再怎麼更新，它也只會奔著讓AI更易用去。
一條拼接水管的出水量取決於這個管道中最窄的那一段。當前AI處理收斂性問題已經強無敵，而AI的使用沒有瓶頸，意味著這時候起決定作用的是使用者。所以在AI出現後的世界，決定性的力量非是AI而是人自身。
最近流行的一個AI技術就是“技能機制”，指的是封裝好的，��執行的動作序列。這個加強的是AI的執行層。執行層原本就是AI的優勢項目，加強執行層，意味著天平的另一端也要投下等重的砝碼。另一端是什麼？是“做正確的事”。如果你僅僅是加強執行而跑錯了方向，那結果只是更快地掉下懸崖而已。AI的每一分進步，最後都會變成使用者需要承擔的一份重量。
很多人以為，自己只要多多地使用AI，那麼AI成長了，自己的生命也就隨之成長。這就好像今天有一柄沉重的斧子插在地裡，你可以把手黏在斧柄上，但要是你拿不起這把斧子，它和你的生命有什麼關係呢？不同於人類以往的工具，AI太強大了。
所以現在有智慧的人不會密切關注AI又有什麼進步。他們關注的是自己的生命有何成長？

It is that time of the year. Check the Eli pens to see if they are expired. and make sure they are located all over the place. And my extra tip is to put the expiration date in easy to see writing on a bright sticker and tape down. This makes it much easier to identify and replace expired pens.
Stinging things are out earlier than usual around here and I had two very close calls.
