Last Notes
As I predicted in my very first post on my latest try of blog, I got off to a flying start, then the summer break came, and just like that, I hadn’t published anything for nearly two months. Old dogs and old habits are hard to change, and I'm the former and have plenty of the latter.
Be that as it may, it's time for me to get back on track, so therefore I’m writing something. This time about my early literary encounters with values and units.
All this paired, of course, with a new offline browser tool that nobody needs, but is still kind of cool, because, damn it, there are so many units, and both the research and putting it all together were actually fun. And who knows, maybe one person or another will actually get something out of it.

but why, do you think, it is like that? on one hand it might be over sexualization, to much to easy to access, on the other hand is it as someone pointed out the demonization of sexuality? Depends what is counted as intervention. Is it state intervention, when a county represents its citizens, which do not want a coal mining in their county?
Often it is not only win-win situations. But win-lose situations. When a copper mine is operated without good surveillance of spills, this is cheap for the mining company but exoensive for the locals.
Locals have not the same pots to pay decision makers to resist. But the mining company has lots of to influence decision makers.
In this case investors prefer the mine to be in a corrupt country, where insurances do not have to be paid and citizens do have no voice.
I understood this part of economy, when I hear Larry Fink. I totally agree, that free markets deliver better opportunities for everyone. But corrupt markets can offer better comparable opportunities to investors. And Larry talks about investors. Not over all growth.
