Working your entire career for someone else can’t make you truly wealthy.
My Post :
To become wealthy you have to be an employer. And that also means you are going to have to work way harder than most employees. Unless you are an incredible pro athlete it’s almost impossible to become incredibly wealthy by working your entire career for someone else.
The idea that you can make yourself wealthy by taking something from someone else is the essence of a ……..

The room fell into an awkward silence as patrons suddenly found their drinks and table very interesting.
I was at the end of the bar heavily intoxicated. I banged my fist on the counter and slurred, “Get the ballerina a drink!”

When I first graduated highschool I took a job as a cashier at the local grocery store. One day an elderly woman approached my checkout counter, clutching a small list and a determined expression. “Young man,” she said, “I’d like to buy half of a watermelon.”
I was caught off guard. “Uh, I’m sorry, ma’am, but we only sell whole watermelons,” I explained.
Undeterred, the woman leaned in slightly, “Well, I’m old, and I don’t eat much. Whenever I buy a whole watermelon, half of it goes to waste. Could you ask your supervisor if there’s anything he can do?”

I froze mid-sentence. The elderly woman had followed me, and was now standing directly behind me, Thinking quickly, I turned back to my supervisor with a smile. "..And this delightful young lady would like to purchase the other half.
My supervisor chuckled, impressed by my quick recovery. They worked out a solution, and the elderly woman left the store with exactly what she needed, a satisfied smile on her face.
Later, my supervisor turned to me, still amused. “That was some quick thinking back there. Where are you from?”
I puffed up slightly, flashing a confident grin. “Oh, I’m from Canada, but I left because it’s just full of hockey players and hookers.”
My supervisor’s expression shifted.
“My wife is from Canada.”
Without missing a beat, I leaned in with a grin. “That’s fantastic! What team did she play for?”

Assistant to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov shared details about the upcoming meeting between Putin and Trump:

President Trump on Wednesday warned that Russia would suffer “very serious consequences” if President Vladimir Putin does not agree to stop the Ukraine war after their summit.
Mr. Trump did not elaborate on what those consequences would be for Russia.
He said Friday’s summit in Alaska was a crucial step toward ending the more than three-year war in Ukraine, but he would need to see a genuine commitment to peace from Mr. Putin before setting up a follow-up meeting to hash out a ceasefire agreement.
Still, Mr. Trump voiced cautious optimism about brokering peace for Ukraine.
“There’s a very good chance that we’re going to have a second meeting, which will be more productive than the first, because the first is [where] I’m going to find out where we are and what we’re doing,” Mr. Trump said at a press conference at the Kennedy Center.

OPINION:
The idea that Vladimir Putin conspired to put Donald Trump in the White House was widely broadcast under orders issued by Barack Obama in his final weeks as president.
Records unsealed Friday trace the origin of this deception to a December 2016 gathering of the National Security Council. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard outlined the “manufactured intelligence” that emerged from this presidential confab on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“The tasks coming out of that meeting were coming from President Obama directing the intelligence community — then-ODNI [James R.] Clapper — to produce a document, to produce an intelligence assessment, that detailed not if, but how, Moscow affected the election that had already occurred, electing Donald Trump to the presidency,” she said.
Previously, America’s spies were meticulous about ensuring their analysis “doesn’t mislead the reader to believe that the [intelligence community] currently has information indicating Russia has a known intent to influence the elections,” according to an FBI expert’s email.
A statement to that effect would have appeared in the president’s daily briefing hours before Mr. Obama’s leadership team assembled. After receiving “new guidance” from the top, however, the FBI agent deleted the line.
Despite the lack of reliable intelligence suggesting Russia affected the election, NSC meeting participants agreed to sanction Russia anyway. Internally, they justified the shift in narrative by referencing “new” evidence that turned out to be nothing more than fairy tales cooked up by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
“After months of investigation into this matter, the facts reveal this new assessment was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible,” the DNI reported in a written summary of the newly released papers.
To some, these revelations aren’t surprising. Internet sleuths assumed Mr. Obama was behind what happened based on fragmentary hints stashed deep within inspector general reports and freedom of information releases. Until now, intelligence officials successfully concealed their hanky-panky from the broader public through redactions and a cozy relationship with “journalists” eager to publish fable as fact, as long as it undermines Mr. Trump. To some, these revelations aren’t surprising. Internet sleuths assumed Mr. Obama was behind what happened based on fragmentary hints stashed deep within inspector general reports and freedom of information releases.
