Hatte das kurz mit dem postulierten Geräusch verwechselt, das die Darmaktivität beschleunigt. 😅

year, sounds really cool! How does it behave if you put the printed object into water? Does it float well or soak through and drown?

I wonder why they did not switch to Klipper like all the cool kids if they plan on keeping their firmware open, anyway.

Another #FreeCADFriday already!
This week I share a wall holder for a handheld bidet/shower head.

maybe you can 3D-print a clamp that you can place on the chip to read it without soldering. You can find them for DIP chips on eBay, etc. Just forgot how they are called. 🤔

2026-07-31 08:27:16 UTC

Today I share simple 3D-printable cable clips. They can help organizing cabling and prevent tangly messes.
This is more like an #OpenSCADFriday than a #FreeCADFriday this time, but you can combine them using the #OpenSCAD workbench in #FreeCAD.

While everyone is talking about the new #SteamMachine, I decided to buy a #FrameworkDesktop instead. It seems to be the superior computer.
For this #FreeCADFriday, I prepared custom front panels and a modified side cover for the Framework Desktop.

#QuickHack with @npub1a6y…n4kx:
I had this salvaged cheapo NVME SSD in my drawer and was unable to remove the heatsink.
So I designed and printed a simple enclosure to use it as an USB drive.
TPU was not completely dry but it still turned out to be a functional gadget. ✨

It's another #FreeCADFriday and I share another printable design created with @npub1a6y…n4kx!
I made magnetic tags to label the printer configuration. This is an easy way to prevent material or nozzle size mixups.
I place them where they are visible through the camera so that they can be seen via #OctoPrint.

before you mass print those, try if they stick to slightly wet glasses or mugs.
It is to annoying if you raise your glass and vault the coaster at the same time or have it drop at your feet 😮‍💨
The coarse surface might prevent that but it's probably good to check.

Hey @npub1cf7…39az community!
I made a filament storage container with a PC4-M6 pneumatic connector from a food storage box!
It can be connected to the printer via a PTFE tube and equipped with silica gel to keep the filament dry.
