I’m driving my kayak so I can paddle around the northern part of the Adirondacks from Denver later this month (crazy, I know!) and I would love recommendations on interesting things to see on the way. I’ll likely be taking I-80 to Syracuse, then I-81 up to Paul Smiths. I’ll have my cameras with me and am willing to take detours to interesting places! I was happy to pay once, and then upgrade fees, because I didn’t always want or need the upgrade every year. My net spend was less year over year than it is now. But of course that’s why Adobe does it this way.

@npub1xl5…wsca you’re making me feel a lot better about my Breville Barista Express (purchased in 2017)…even though the grinder is shot, it’s still pulling good shots and steaming fine, with maybe $100 spent on descaling tabs, gaskets, and other consumables. Now to go find the next $1,500 machine that can last seven-plus years….

@npub1s7e…7amd are you pre-washing your film? A good minute-long soak in water, perhaps with a water change or two, can help ensure the dev and fix chemistry is taken up evenly. My thought here is that you’ve got some bubbles at some phase….You could try winding the film in back-end first (so the first frames are on the outermost part of the spiral) and see if they show up on the same frames or on the same spiral-position…that would at least tell you if it’s in-camera or a processing artifact.
