Probably the former, since like I mentioned for friendslops most only beat it once and that's it, maybe a side content or completion can happen. Replayability only happens if your friend group wants a redo for say, challenge run, or the game being the group's favorite, or another friend group is inviting you to play. That or you don't mind playing friendslops alone, I know people speedrun something like Chained Together solo though.

Something along those lines imo, I'm still not sure myself if it's replayability or something else, but there is something that differentiates both. Basically all friendslop is coop but not all coop games is friendslop.
I guess in my opinion it has something to do with the overall goal of the game or variety of it and the content, because friendslop usually is lacking in this aspect.

I have friends but I share the sentiment with friendslops lmao
It's just a game that you play once and then never again sitting in your library, and it's also either unplayable solo or lose most of its value if you play it solo.
Someone made an argument that it's basically like paying to go to amusement park with friends
Except no not at all amusement park offers significantly more value compared to most friendslops, friends don't let friends play friendslop, play actual coop games like Elden Ring Nightreign instead.
On whether something considered as friendslop or coop games is a topic for another day tho because the terms starts to blur as one lately.

Worst thing about this reveal is the realization that if linkedin can do this without the usual consent confirmation, there must be other sites that do this as well, doesn't help that it's owned by microslop :blobcatMeltTears:
