@nprofile…d0dx Oh, no, not Manjaro and Ubuntu. Let me explain why.
Manjaro is a downstream of Arch Linux, which is a community maintained distro. Now, the issue with community maintainance is that it is often (recently) targeted by bad actors.
Ubuntu, on the other hand, is a downstream of Debian. Now, it should be generally fine, but their shenanigans is why it has a poor experience - they force Snap packages.
Fedora is generally a nice experience, despite being the upstream distro itself.

@nprofile…d0dx The thing about Mint is that it is a stable release, and sometimes it may be outdated. Fedora, on the other hand, a rolling release distro. You could try your luck with Fedora's Cinnamon edition. Or maybe with Linux Mint, but be sure to avoid LTS release for a regular release.

@nprofile…33hd wasn't there a "idea" (GSoC 2016) to replace Nix's C++ daemon with Guile? Has that been abandoned?

@nprofile…596j I had a take-home assignment that specifically requested the use of Tanstack Query with Zustand - and I had barely used Jotai and Redux before, and so, every job application of mine for a startup is a joke, because the burden of learning a new library every next day - OpenProps, Tailwind for CSS, NextJS, NestJS, Remix, Prisma, mikroORM, Sequelize, Drizzle, etc for DB is disheartening.

@nprofile…ug6l This is more of a case of systemic discrimination - in this case, West Punjab majoritarians in Pakistan have neglected areas in Sindh, Baloch, Pakthun and AJK.
There is no system of accountability when it comes to western aid - because they only care about performative charity.
The same is the case with India - having neglected areas like Odisha, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Punjab, etc.
Modern Indian subcontinent is a huge neo-colony project administered by brown sepoys.
