Respectfully, no.
Politics is a social-structure that is necessary at first, then inevitably attracts the Psycho-/Sociopaths.
Psycho-/Sociopaths represent <5% of society, but they seem to have an Evolutionary imperative to persist. In fact, the accepted definition is that Psychopaths are born, Sociopaths are made.
They represent a tiny number of people who do not understand emotional bonding and connection. As such, they only see their social culture as a NEED to control other people. So they are drawn to positions of power - i.e. positions of central authority or control.
It’s important to understand they’re drawn to political positions not just for the control, but because they increasingly feel themselves among “their tribe” - in other words, no longer around “those” people they don’t understand.
Politics is where Sociopaths feel most “at home”.
[They feel they’re in their element, as sadistic as it is ( I use the word sadistic intentionally). It’s exactly similar to how pedophiles are drawn together in positions of power over children, in fact the Venn diagram between the two psychologies is almost unified…which explains so much of what has been coming to light of late.]
The desire to control is the desire for Power. Normal people do not feel this. Normal people will achieve success, and then long to retire asap and “spend time with friends and family”. Sociopaths do not, because they don’t understand their family. They never bonded, they don’t “get” the need for people to be together for any reason other than “networking” or gaining access. This is why people in higher Politics never seem to leave. They have nowhere safe to go any longer.
What Sociopaths fear the most is being disrespected. THIS is the leverage they use over each other.
Sociopaths DO NOT care whether you like them or hate them. They need you to be in their control, to play their game.
What they CANNOT allow is for you to walk away and ignore them.

Good question.
I spent so much of my life trying to rocket-jet myself into success. In various fields. So when I mention how it’s important to learn about “red flags” I speak from a place that learned to do that the hard way, and learned to appreciate my aptitude to do so.
But basically, I was fortunate enough to find enough success to realize that what I do has to be fun and enjoyable, otherwise it’s just servitude.
When we’re young - ALL of us - we think we have to do what we’re told to do by, and to become, Adults.
That’s not true.
Young people need to - first and foremost - learn to recognize who are actual Authentic Adults? Then just ask them for jobs. To learn.
Never in history have people worked “McJobs”. Never. They only exist in a Fiat monetary system.
For thousands of years, “Farmer” used to be a very high-class occupation.

I use AI almost exclusively now as a replacement for websearching.
What I’m experimenting with now is including my boring websearch with something that might be more spicy.
So, for instance, if I’m wondering whether the ‘60’s band The Seekers was connected to the ‘70’s band The New Seekers, I might ask:
“Was the band The Seekers affiliated with the later band The New Seekers, and how were they related to the US abdicating from the Gold Standard in 1971?”

Once you realize how to identify Psycho/Sociopaths,

It’s gotten crazy now, but I believe it’s worth remembering that many years ago, early/clumsy AI was implicated in something that became known as “Elsagate”.
tl;dr “Youtube Kids” began to support thousands of videos for children that parents began to complain were “very off”. They exhibited cartoon characters, superheros, and nominallly “Elsa” from frozen…but in situations that increasingly became weird and disturbing.
As I understand it, it turned out low-rent AI was farming income by auto-generating countless videos and posting specifically to Youtube Kids - knowing that parents weren’t monitoring and the kids would just click on whatever was engaging. The videos started as bland, but mission-creep gradually led them to generate strangely as the engagement warranted.
Many of these can still be found, I believe, on Youtube still….by searching “Elsagate”. It’s not a boring endeavor, and quite instructive in understanding how the Uncanny Valley still perpetuates in contemporary AI.

But large Bitcoin Mining co’s pivoting to AI signals to me only that they were lost at sea, scared, and uncommitted to Bitcoin mining.

I can only imagine I know where you’re coming from, but I think I share the disheartenment.
Fiat is the retardation that just…keeps…going. It should disappear overnight. For so many reasons.
Yet the most important change in multiple generations of lifetimes - which is in EVERYONE’s face now - is somehow still just an investment sideshow.
A large part of it (in your world, if I can mind-read you) is that people who are intelligent and dynamic are continually profoundly stupid.

Fear & Greed is an upside-down “index”.
It solely tracks Retail, so it’s a dangerous metric, since Retail is people who are emotionally attached to high time preference.
As opposed to people who get a paycheck whether they make money or not, or whose lives don’t change whether they invest well or whether they wait.
So basically (imo) Fear is simply when Retail has no money to spend, and Greed is when they have it. And that said, when Retail is gutted, Institutions have done their job and will soon step up and start buying. But probably not too soon, unless there’s nothing else.

This is a very timely and important post Marty, and I appreciate it because I am also seeing and becoming briefly disheartened by how Institutions are clearly - in my view - demoralizing and “fleecing” retail in the Bitcoin space so that they can acquire their/our Bitcoin.

Does anyone have real-world experience dealing with corporate American health-care on a cash basis?
I often hear that you can offer cash and get greatly discounted rates/fees, but that seems really sus. Is it worth me calling my local hospital billing dept about that?
I’m aware of CrowdHealth, but it’s not considered insurance so it’s my belief I’ll still be required to have additional “real” health insurance…?
My goal is to not have to rely on a job (or AMA) to provide my insurance, but since I’ve never actually had to deal with health insurance I don’t have experience in the IRL of saying “how much will this be if I pay cash?”

I have come to believe that maybe that IS the purpose of God putting tiny fractions of His consciousness into Us in this material world that seems to just grind and separate us into “tried as hard as She/He could” - or - “couldn’t do it anymore and gave up”.

I feel the same questions and concerns. And I won’t pretend I know, because literally no one person knows. There are so many decades of consortiums acting together and against ad infinitum over a century or more becoming a non-virtual World Wide Web of power that it’s incomprehensible to any singular one of us or even of them.
So naturally we just choose not to care…except we seem to be experiencing the end-game. Maybe. In which only a handful of them are now exercising inordinate control worldwide, having garnered and incorporated vast UNINCORPORATED military and non-military divisions beyond outline or trace.
At any rate, forget all that. I doesn’t matter and is only disheartening…my only point is that WE very real human beings have been born into this very unhuman bureaucratic hellscape solely because the US Dollar introduced Fiat Money like a shitcoin cryptocurrency into the world. The “discovery” of Fiat money devaluation was like jet-fuel for centuries of shitty power-struggling psychopaths.
Learning and grasping and understanding that really sucks.

I hate/don’t hate this view. But if we entertain it, that means we need to see that the proverbial Bitcoin-meme “Money Printer” has not stopped but only changed hands. [Which won’t surprise TFTC viewers & Luongo lovers - but I’m dubious they can pull this off….THIS time (despite having watched Fed/Dollar money manager work magic for decades).]
As I see it, what your interviewee is saying (in this clip) is that money printing is no longer a shotgun, but a paid tactical team. I doubt that hasn’t always been the case, but I’m totally open to the fact that instead of US banks being the bailouts it’s now dozens of worldwide agents…

I just don’t believe they can weaponize the Dollar back into non-“Eurodollar/foreigndollar” hands. But in truth I had given something like a 25% chance that they could reign-in the 2007-2008 financial crisis, and they fucking did it. In spades.

Unpopular Nostr Opinion:
I’m old enough to remember that when rich folk start losing money the Fed always, ALWAYS steps in to make them rich again - overnight. After they bagged their game…which they telegraphed beforehand.
I suspect only a handful of people I know are spotting the telegraph, so I’m not confident about anything rn. But currencies, bonds, and sound money are all spinning so very fucking askew that whatever the target is it’s serious and the globe is going to pay for it when they execute it.
When the blood they seek is in their hands…the refunding will be Spectacular. Game-changing.
But Do not try to second-guess this, Bitcoiner. Because this is not simply a falling knife. We know nothing about the game being played.
Now - IMHO - is the time to go underground, like the proverbial shrew before the asteroid. Now is the time when stay Humble matters most. Now - again, my stupid-ass Internet rando opinion - is when you need to prepare for Fourth Turning, full Prepper, hodl your family close, learn and love to make beans and bread and rice, abandon the cities and find a rural lifeboat, et al.
Because the global, primal signals that have been ignored, then laughed at, then fought, are crazy clear about to win. And we may be wrong again, no doubt. But you won’t miss out, so don’t try to catch the bottom of a falling knife.

I like to keep my distance from federal-scale politics, and view much of it as Kabuki theatre/Kayfabe for the mass-audience.
But (and in that light) I find the pov interesting that Trump orchestrated his “falling out” with Elon Musk at least partly so he could ask Musk to post that famous tweet about Trump being a major figure in the Epstein files.
Trump clearly uses Trump Derangement Syndrome as a ring-in-the-nose for millions of people (much like other such issues like Abortion have been used by both parties for decades). The Epstein files were being continually stonewalled, especially by liberals - UNTIL Musk hinted that Trump would be damned in them. And like clockwork suddenly Dems cannot get them posted fast enough.
If Trump was actually indicted in, why weren’t at least the specific references posted years ago? Plus, Trump has repeatedly said early on that he wasn’t dumb enough to get caught-up in the whole Epstein honey-pot. So I personally can’t believe theres anything substantial in the files about him, or insiders would have used that info to destroy him years ago.
So I like to toy with the idea that Trump worked with Musk to re-vitalize the drive for disclosure by simply tweeting that exposing those files would be damning to Trump. It’s an elegant stroke (much like how Trump subjugated the entire globe by simply Tweeting tariffs into existence, and inciting every world leader to bend the knee to him to avoid such).
At any rate, what is inarguable is that now, suddenly, all the people who pointedly ignored those files for years have bent the knee and are screaming loudly for their disclosure. And only and solely because Musk promised them that disclosure would destroy Trump.

Cycles are broken. Because Cycles were “Retail”, and Retail is and was Bitcoin’s history, but is now done. Fuck the famous people of Bitcoin anymore, because they have substantially sodl’d and have nothing more to offer. Not to me, imo.
Bitcoin is no longer a person thing, so personally, I don’t care about the “people” of Bitcoin. I encourage you to stop listening to them as well.
It’s an institutional thing now. Individuals have and are being fleeced by Retail. And that “fleecing” is a long game, because institutions aren’t “people”, and are very, very good at causing long-term suffering, titillation, suffering, titillation, et all until Retail gives it’s fleece up to them. They can do this ad infinitum because they aren’t people, they live their greatest lives on a fiat paycheck, not caring how the markets perform, so long as they don’t personally lose their job.
So the situation for Bitcoin right now sucks. And it sucks hard. And it won’t end soon. None of us will get rich and quit our jobs in the next few years. The era for that is over, so get that potential out of your mind.
Bitcoin is unique. So very unique that less than 1% of people on this planet understand how important it will be for our lives, and for Human history. It uniquely matters, for so many reasons I won’t go into for the inexperienced, in this post.
The only goal now is to make Bitcoin the chief investment for your family, and MOST ESPECIALLY to take it into Self-Custody. Do this, consistently and persistently, and do it with no expectation that you will achieve anything more than a comfortable retirement.
We can’t beat Wall Street. We simply don’t have the “fiat” to 10x Bitcoin in a few years like individuals did in the past. We aren’t players now. We are the hodler sheep they need to fleece.
So forget getting rich, unless getting rich is a 3x by 2030. And if you think you can shitcoin riches, go fuck yourself and your family, Wall St traders will fleece shitcoins even faster than Bitcoin. We NEED to accept that the bitcoin millionaires were made, and they are not us. Maybe our children will be, and we absolutely should invest for that future since there is no other asset worth investing for our children. But we need to be clear that WE will not be quitting our jobs in the next few years. Even though we’re investing in the best asset that exists.
Bitcoiners are legion, and we are humble. That is a powerful, powerful quality of Tribe. It should be embraced and we should expect that it may be the very thing that most changes the World in the next decade or so. The world needs this quality, is yearning for this quality of tribe, and nothing but Bitcoin is offering it. The riches of being a Bitcoiner may truly be the friends we make along the way…
Yet the global money-printers want Bitcoin itself, and they never fomo, because they don’t care about fiat-price / market forces. They’ll buy and suppress the price of the most important and constant asset on the planet for as long as they must. For 100’s of years if need be. To take our Bitcoins away from us. Because their petty human lives won’t change one way or the other so long as they’re already rich in fiat.
So long as the Fiat tide stays level, they can hodl their breath for a looooong time.
