Looking for some help for my 20 year old son please.
I appreciate the best way forward for most is probably to go down the tradesman route these days rather than University degree, however my son has gone down the 3 year BSC (Hons) Econimics route and is currently looking for a summer internship for the end of his second year next summer. I don't want him going to the usual large fiat driven tradfi companies.
Does anybody know of any bitcoin aligned companies he could approach who have internship programs? We're in the UK but can also go to the US or elsewhere?

I’m not a Luddite; I can see the value of a Digital Identifier. What I have a problem with is who issues and controls my Digital ID. Who am I going to allow to have agency over me?
I don’t want to go all theological, but your/my agency, identity, and sovereignty are given to you/me by our/my maker (whatever that is for you), not some jumped-up little atheist man in Downing Street running a tribalistic psyop! By his own admission, he prefers the globalist Davos crowd! He can stick their government-issued and controlled Digital ID where the sun doesn’t shine, whether developed by OfDIA, Labour Together, The Blair Foundation, Multiverse, Yoti, OneID, GB Group, Thirdfort, Amiqus Resolution, or Sam Altman and his World ID & Orb!
Although from what I can see wallet UI improvements are still needed, anybody can already set up their own Decentralised ID, which they own and control as a Self-Sovereign Identity, for free. Just get a NOSTR public key! You can then authorise third parties like the government or NHS etc to interact with certain aspects of your Digital ID and profile, but you control the data, not the third party or government.
Government services should be developed around integration with the DID-Nostr protocol if we want to safeguard and optimise for positive future outcomes.

I'm guessing Elon will make X-USD part of the X everything app and may enable mobile transactions directly through Starlink mobile in unfriendly countries. (He should do it on lightning but not sure if he will)
Bet they don't allow people to issue USD stablecoins backed by assets of their own chosing i.e gold, silver, bitcoin. They restric the use of USD stablecoin in the US to those backed by US debt. Hope I'm wrong.

Not sure what my FB friends will feel about my most recent post?
With rumours of the UK general election being called in March I thought I'd invest (waste🤣) a few hours that I'll never get back! I braved listening in on Labour's Business Conference. 🧐 I couldn't shake a vision of a Crony Capitalist Managed Economy sold on pretence of the "Society for Inclusive Capitalism" driven forward with false narratives along the lines of the business "Equalisation of Opportunity Act" and "Anti Dog eat Dog Act". 🤦 Sounds great until you think/analyse where it could take you!
Anyway, basically found myself drifting off to Galt's Gulch again but I'm not silent quitting just yet.😂🤣😂

When operating within a "Complex System" it's imperative to build in extra "System Redundancy" as failing to plan is planning to fail, right!
If you're following what's happening in Texas with the National Guard and the support Governor Greg Abbott has received from 25 other States, the situation is bubbling!
With Bidens threats, these US States certainly need to build in some extra "System Redundancy"!
I would love to see Greg Abbott announce the State is adding #Bitcoin to their reserves to build in some protection against the weaponization of the Federal Reserve System fiat dollars system.
They should launch USDTexas - Overcollateralized by #bitcoin. USDTexas would be far superior to Federal fiat USDs which have nothing backing their value!

Loan ETFs BTC to MM/OTC desks & rebuy those BTC back from MM/OTC - reloan them again & again 🔄 earning loan fees and AMF i.e their ETF is backed by PAPER BTC loan contracts rather than physical bitcoin.
Rince & repeat until GBTC is stripped of it's 550K BTC!
This would bypass the spot market it wouldn't drive the price higher.
