Bea seems not to be too unhappy that our apartment is full of boxes. This morning she was sniffing 'nip and playing string from one.

This afternoon I took my e-Brompton to the Bronx to apartment shop. That means I used two different e-bikes for commuting purposes today. 😀
I've given up on the lottery apartment since it's been 2 months and I've been left hanging. Today I saw apartments in 2 different buildings. And I fell in love with one apartment so I submitted a rental application. 🤞
The apartment is in a brand new building in a residential area. It should be much quieter than living on Broadway. And I probably won't hear my neighbors in the building because of how it is built.
The two elevators in the building are large enough to easily fit bikes into. Plus there is a bike room so I'll have to decide if I want to use it or keep my bikes in my apartment. But I'm not going to think too much about the apartment until I hear that it's mine. Oh I hope it's going to be mine.
I spend almost all of my free time in the Bronx so I think it makes sense that I live there. It'll be weird not living in Manhattan but I think I'm ready to leave the island.

I rode up to the Lenoir Preserve in Yonkers, NY this morning. I didn't see a lot of birds but I heard a lot of birds. One bird I did see was this Osprey who let me know what it thought of me. But look at that fluffy white petticoat!
I guess I could say I had a $h!tty experience on my first trip to the Lenoir Preserve.
