Hello dear plebs! I’ve seen good engagement on this post and I appreciate it. Does anyone actually want to have a channel open to their node with 2-4 million sats ?! My Nostr DMs are open, we can discuss BOS balanced channel openings or just opening and balancing later. Would love some inbound if possible but providing outbound will also work for me. 🐇🕳️⚡️

Hi Nostr, how about we give our Lightning Nodes some love? Got a few million sats to open channels with plebs. DM me what amount you are comfy with and we can open a dual funded channel with BOS or just agree to balance it later.

Lightning has been fun, over 4 years ago I tinkered with my first LN Node and I have been running my current one for over 3. No regrets even though I’ve lost thousands and maybe even close to hundreds of thousands of sats in shit channels and force closures. Never did it for the gains and as long as I can remember ran with 0 Base Fee Routing fees. Kind of sad that I was close to reach 1 whole BTC in combined inbound+outbound liquidity… ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Not even 10% of that nowadays 🫂 #plebchain might be saying goodbye to it at some point, lost motivation and I hate to say it… custodial LN wallets are a lot less pain in the ass and take a lot less balancing costs and force closures 🤪

I’ve discussed Lightning with her previously, not sure if I should introduce her to a LN wallet next so she can feel the power of instant Zaps ⚡️. Or go another route and grab a Raspberry pi I have laying around to get her to have her own Full Node 🤔 (this might be too ambitious though).

I can see I dodged a bullet, now that I reflect on it (for those who don’t give a fuck, fair enough… I just posted a note for prosperity on Nostr showing how dumb I was) still feel like shit though, I get the typical urge to not make myself vulnerable on future relationships, but I also believe that if you don’t risk being myself with someone else I believe might work… why even try?

Thought about using an alt anon Nostr account to vent.
But I also find it important to be able to look back and hold myself accountable…
I had a freaking intense and well lived long week, met a girl and we clicked in so many ways.
She is a hard worker, sexy and appeared genuine when opening up and sharing stuff with countless hours of chatting (that’s when we didn’t have each other’s hands busy on each other).
Long story short: I must have trusted too much and chose to believe this was becoming “the real deal”; she said yes to the idea of being a couple.
Suddenly today after spending the day with some female friends of hers, she sends me a text saying that she still feels stuff for her EX, and that we should just be friends.
WTF?!
A text is soooo immature and impersonal compared with what I had seen and felt until that moment from her.
She declined a face to face clarification, saying that I should respect her decision.
She accepted a phone call; I made sure to politely and calmly ask her if she was serious? if she really was betting for the guy that was unfaithful to her 6 months ago?and couldn’t even touch her at the end of the relationship because of hypochondria condition and disgust (her words) and also for a guy who is now with someone else and took her 2 cats with him?
Told her we can’t be friend and BYE after she nervously said yes to those questions.
Can’t sleep, feel stupid.
