To fairly treat a Nazi is to kick them out. They always have the choice to change their behaviour and quit being a Nazi. It's not the responsibility of anyone else to put up with Nazi-shit.
Or they can go elsewhere. But if they want to play with normal people, they need to behave normally. Nobody prevents them from doing so. They chose not to, so it's up to them.
If you like to hang out with them, go visit their turf, don't bring them here to ruin our space.

Have you ever tried to share a piece of music or a movie someone else owns the rights to? Or insult a politician online? The Web is not an open, lawless, undefended place as you suggest. It is just a lot harder to enforce your will as an individual.
And it does not mean that the Fediverse has to be the same. Even if you are allowed to harass people in a public place, in my home I make my own rules. If a fedi admin decides to defederate another server, it's their decision.

So you are saying, if a MAGA guy spouts nonsense and hate speech here, we shouldn't feel bothered and tolerate it. But if we refute their views and stand up for ourselves, it will be seen as treating them badly?
I hope you see the problem here. Everyone is welcome if they behave like decent human beings. If not, they will reap what they sow.

Falls jemand eine brauchbare Wohnung/Haus zur #Miete in #Bielefeld kennt, die ab etwa September 2025 frei würde, gerne Bescheid geben (Finderlohn nicht ausgeschlossen!).
Sollte mindestens 120qm (mehr = besser) und 4+ Zimmer haben, Energieklasse idealerweise besser als E, Rollläden, ÖPNV und Supermärkte in der Nähe, Internet ab 100 Mbits, nicht zu laut. Parkplätze wären ein Plus, ebenso nicht zu weit draußen.
