Irán ha atacado una base británica en suelo europeo (Chipre) después de que Reino Unido se comprometiese a apoyar a EE.UU. en su guerra de agresión. Someone has to explain to me slowly why, if satellites are a 70-year old technology, companies have only decided to heavily invest on them (e.g. Starlink, Amazon LEO...) in the last decade. TL, DR: Let's boycott businesses supporting Reform UK.
Like many immigrants, I am terrified of Reform UK coming to power and the new support they are claiming at their conference. Apparently a lot of businesses have gone to the #reformUK conference because "they’re toxic but popular". I don't think they are popular but rather that businesses joined their echo chamber. Can we prove it by organising a boycott of businesses supporting Reform UK?

The problem the government may encounter when branding direct action peaceful opposition groups as terrorist is that they may reach a logical conclusion: if they're going to be treated like terrorists regardless of what they do, they may as well increase the number of tools at their disposal to include actual terrorist attacks when it suits them politically and logistically. Sadly I'm not entirely convinced this isn't the desired outcome.

@nprofile…hszg forgive my ignorance but in what if the two systems is modern Algebraic Geometry (EGA and the like) supposed to be built on? I know I use the axiom of choice for some proofs regarding existence of maximal ideals in conmutative rings with unity in my conmutative algebra class but I also give an alternative way to avoid th in the exercises. However for my research I ignore all this since I hardly ever need to 'pick' sets.

As a result the number of female PGT students from certain backgrounds has dropped starkly, something that was entirely predictable. How this is compatible with the Equality Act 2010 I don't know. I suppose it is till someone puts the cash to challenge it in court. Case law always work in favour of power.

@nprofile…0ftr only someone who hasn't had an H1b would think that a job linked to it is a good job. Essentially h1bs are serfs with less rights than a national doing the same job. They cannot switch jobs without permission of the employer. Their spouses cannot work. It's medieval.

Reuters reports that Israeli fire killed at least 45 Palestinians as they awaited aid trucks in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip and dozens of others were wounded as a result, the territory’s health ministry said in a statement.
The event comes after five Palestinian civilians were killed, along with several others wounded, after Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting for aid in north-west Gaza City on Monday evening.

It's unclear to me what the difference between that and applying this act is, seeing previous times it was applied in recent history. Is it that it's done against the will of the state?

I have the opinion that the real influence these ideas have is limited. The reactionaries don't need ideas to push their agenda forward, they have the strength that money and state or privately funded violence brings them. Think of nazis, arguably only one thinker had real deep insight (Carl Schmidt). I work at the University where Land got his PhD. Not once have I heard his name mentioned and I have heard the names of others who are disliked even in the right (Bercow or Patel)

I've been meaning to change since they started LLMing all the queries. I managed to remove it in the computer but not on the phone. Besides, once the term is queried, the LLM is ran and it is like driving, I'd avoid the emissions if I can, especially when I don't intend to read that.

Thanks. I'm surprised nobody is considering this seriously. I thought that was the whole point of spending a third of a billion in DART. That said, it's unlikely anyone other than NASA has a chance at moving it and given the probable action window is 2028, the location of the predicted crash trajectory and the priorities of the current US administration, it's unlikely anything will be done, no matter the odds.

A sort of fantasy in which to look at. If a labour channel was to be sucessful, it would need to present a utopian workplace. Con el tema #Rubiales, #PeioRiaño y otros que han salido y espero que sigan saliendo, tengo una teoría y es que en puestos y/o profesiones altamente competitivas (donde hay más gente que las quiere que personas disponibles) los que tienen un punto abusón/sociópata/psicópata (donde el rollo sexual es un aspecto de muchos posibles) tienen un plus competitivo porque están dispuestos a hacer cosas para triunfar o mantenerse ahí que al resto de los mediocres mortales ni se nos ocurren. #SeAcabo
