Despite being attacked by the police, with batons and having horses ridden into them, the good people of Bristol stood their ground. They refused to obey the police order to move and make way for the Bristol Patriots match, blocking the route for over an hour.
This steadfast resistance forced the police to retreat and escort the Patriots back the way they came.
This is a huge victory for a community which came together against hatred and intolerance.

BHA owner is a professional gambler, which sounds like a recipe for disaster. He's a lifelong fan and clearly tries to run the club as a sustainable endeavour. His recruitment approach is a stats driven, buy-develop-sell model I think and it seems quite successful. I guess the major risk being how long can this approach keep working (Southampton were very good at this a few years ago but then dropped off)

it was a fantastic game to watch. Pretty much all Spurs the second half, though they needed Liverpool to score 2 own goals to get on the score sheet. Late penalty gives LFC three points though.

he was pretty good at LFC but his game time was understandably limited. He's definitely gone up levels at Bournemouth though. He deserves a big team I think.
