Our little boy and I woke up at 5.30, then we had our time in bed. At 6.45 he asleep again so I had 35 minutes for myself 👌

😷 This shit is stronger than I thought. I believed that my immune system is strong but this illness take me down for longer than I expected.
My husband also get this crap from Saturday and out baby boy has high fever from this night.
I know that he is strong baby and it will probably pass soon but I feel so sorry for him (I also cried because of it - I hate when I feel powerless..). So now he sleeping on me and I tried to breastfeed as much as possible meanwhile coughing my lungs out..
How did you feel when you experience your child first illness?
Hopefully we will be better soon 💪🌱

Yesterday we had such a nice day outside at garden and today I am sick 😷
My husband took day off from work and now he is taking care about our baby boy. I am grateful that they are doing so well together and I could take some rest.

Update on 8th week of this year:
🧑‍⚕️ We were on two mandatory appointments at doctors with our baby boy. It wasn't that bad as I was afraid of (but I am glad that the next one is in 5 weeks - still to early for me..). Our 👶is gaining weight really fast. He had 2,7 kg at birth and now he has 6,7 kg (nearly 4 months). There starting to be conspiracy theories - one is that I am producing cream instead of milk 🐮 second one is that my husband is secreatly giving him protein.
📚 I got part-time job at local library. It has 6 (SIX) readers. So my goal is to have at least 10 by the end of this year. On Thursday I will he the key and will see how the place looks like. Hopefully it will not be full of garbage.

We just returned from doctor appointment with our baby boy. And I have to say we have great doctor. I was totally freaking out about having this conversation about vaccines. But it went really smoothly and I am relieved. Now I can sleep calmly 💪

Update on the 7th week of this year:
🍝 On Monday we were on quick date (alone). We didn't check opening hours of restaurant and we arrived 5 minutes before closing. But owners were really nice and allowed us to stay there and eat.
⛳ on Tuesday we got new carpet in living room - Clever city. Everyone wants this carpet at home but usually parents don't approve it (so we did).

👶 On Wednesday we went to city to buy baby carrier (and I already tried it also outside). I love it.

🌞 Friday was sunny so I was sitting and reading at garden (our little boy was on walk with my husband). On Saturday I finished the book - will be one of my favorites.

And Sunday was trip to visit my husband's friend and family.

Update on 6th week of this year:
🧹 On Monday we had cleaning ladies come over to our house - it was best decision we could make. They were here for 2 hours and cleaned much more than we wished for. Now they will be coming over twice per month. (Thank to them we are having more time for our baby boy and I am stressing less than before).
🌐 We got stronger Wifi connection (now we have Wifi in bathroom as well - not sure if this was right call).
👘 On Wednesday I got package from my favorite Czech brand - I love their shirts (material and quality are great).

😴 Our little boy finally recognize night sleep (meaning he sleep already from 20.30 to 7.30 - with 4 or 5 wakes up 😅).
❄️ There is still snow and we are going outside everyday. We also visited my husband's coworker who has three dogs.

How was your weekend?
We mostly spent it outside and enjoyed sunny winter. Yesterday we went for spontaneous trip and today for long walk. Physically I am tired but it definitely boost my mood ❄️ And we agreed to go for longer trip next month also with sleep over and I am excited about it.

Naštěstí manžel každý den kočárkuje, tak se dospím nebo si dám vanu sama pro sebe 🙏 Nošení i společné spaní praktikujeme.
Už jsem si tak nějak přiznala, že teď jsem v jeho rukách a nějak se s tím smiřuju. Snažím se moc neplanovat, ale i tak si tajně myslím na koncert v dubnu (to už třeba vydrží i 3h s manželem).

Možná kdybych to neřešila, tak jsem nakonec klidnější 🥹
Já se snažím si najít čas a téma mimo mateřství (teď zrovna ty daně) - jinak by mi asi hráblo už teď. V pátek jsem byla na 2h pryč (v bance a u doktora) a pak se malý ode mě nehl dalších 3 dny v kuse a byl pořád na prsu.
Někde jsem četla, že malý kluci jsou víc kontaktní na potřebují víc pozornosti než holky.

Life is being crazy with the little one. Most of my time during day I am bed or milk machine for him 🫣
For couple weeks I had bad sleeping - baby boy wanted to nurse a lot or I was having dreams about vaccines (nightmares that doctor steals our baby to vaccine him against our will 😵). Yesterday we went for check up to doctor and I was scare about it - because it was time to start vaccinating. But it went smoothly - I told our doctor to postpone it for 6 month at least and he was totally ok with it 💪 He just tell me to remind him everytime we visit him - but he didn't force us to do it now or convince us to change our mind.
And today I finally slept really well without these nightmares. 🙏
Now is time for coffee (we switched for black one for now) and education. I started to listen podcast about taxes because that way I feel bit productive.

We wish you calm, healthy and happy Christmas 🎄🎁
Our first Christmas as family of three (or four 😸) wasn't as we expected.
On 23rd our baby boy was struggling with belly and refused to breastfeed - so he was crying a lot.
Yesterday there were black out of electricity - and for unknown reason third of it didn't turn back to normal. So now we don't have electricity in our bedroom, some sockets in kitchen don't work as well and washing machine is also out.. 😵
So hopefully we will solve it quickly 🙏

We are going to celebrate Christmas already today (it is my husband and mine tradition from 2021 when we decided to do it our way). This year we are having Italian food for dinner - spaghetti Bolognese, ham as appetizer and we also bought chocolate cake this year. 🤤
For the first time we are having "big" Christmas tree (and 3 Christmas flasks). 🌲
And as a present we already got everything what we wanted this year - new home and out baby boy 🧡 So he will be only one receiving presents.

I haven't been here much lately because we need to adapt to new schedule of our baby boy and life is still going on.
During 5 weeks he gain 1,7kg - even doctor asked me what I am adding into the milk 🐮 But I must admit that breast milk is magic - I cure everything with it (it is great for baby seborea).
I am starting with little yoga practice after birth (5 min per day 😅 - not much but I am happy about it) and hopefully I will improve my way of eating.
What is new here and what are your plans for weekend?

How did you enjoy your weekend?
At morning I suggested to have lazy afternoon - turn out to be most productive day in week 😅 The day start with breakfast in bed and movie, then we tidy up a little, went for snow walk, had visit from family, I managed to do some work (especially send myself money for work from September) and washed three batch of clothes. But to be honest it really feels like lazy Sunday for me - because everything was my choice and I wasn't obligated to do anything from the list. 💪 And yet we had wonderful time with our baby boy.

The coexistence of our baby and our cat is going surprisingly well. Winky just needs to lie down on everything out baby boy is using - in his bed, on his diapers, on nursing pillow and clean clothes. So her fur is everywhere now (mostly in baby's mouth or my nipples). 😸
But I am happy about it.

* And now we both have time for recharging - I am reading book and my husband is playing online games

We are trying set some kind of routine with our baby boy. Our parents advise us (nearly force us) to do it by bathing him every evening. And this is definitely not way for us.

We are back home from hospital and enjoying our time together. Winky was bit surprised by baby boy but she managed it well.

After 7 years living together, my husband picks "best" time to snore 😴 The time when I am in stage of pregnancy when going to bathroom every hour in the night (and trying to sleep between).
He never snore that much before.

My coping mechanism is traveling (alone or with friend). I travel before or after (serious) changes in my life.
- I traveled to Netherland before my wedding (and to Slovakia after wedding)
- I went to Finland before moving to our first house
- I left for few days to Lichtenstein before finishing school ..
And now the biggest change of my life is about to happen and I can not go by myself even to nearest train station (which is 600m away). 😭🤯

Today is another #foodstr preparation for post partum period. I made some granola for breakfast, in the freezer we already have bone broth, pumpkin soup and tomatoes soup.
Next week I will make kimchi as well.
What is essentially to have home for post partum? Do you have any tips?
