Maybe a new addressing scheme is necessary but it should incorporate most existing internet standards.
A more complete project is Yggdrasil. It is an experimental routing scheme that used IPV6 addressing.

#solar phone update:
It is cloudy where live, so the small panel did not make any power today. It would have been at most 30-40% of a phone charge. I had to get the bigger one out.
The bigger panel produces as much power as the smaller one does on a sunny day, maybe a bit more. It is a 30w panel vs a 3.5 watt positioned out of direct sunlight vertically (inefficient placement).
I do think more carefully about how much the screen is on. Planning before looking at it helps.

Using Nostr through LoRA would be a terrible user experience. Many have tried to do SSH over LoRA, takes forever.
You could make it faster by removing IP headers in a custom protocol and not encrypting but then everybody knows what posts you are retrieving.
and no images or videos, ever. I learn a lot from visual content on here and would not want to give it up!

This is absolutely true. Good idea.
However, if this network is to be useful for an extended time away from other networks it needs to support more complex tasks like downloading packages and OS images.
These things could be implemented over LoRA however it makes it difficult to access documentation for the thing you just downloaded and are trying to use, etc.
I think reaching this level of compression is possible eventually but we are not there yet for every service and use case.

Small diesel hybrids are problematic for engineering reasons.
Gas Atkinson cycle engine has low power & torque at low rpm and high power at high rpm. The electric motor perfectly compensates for this, leading to good efficiency.
Diesel motors have high starting power and torque at low RPM and are less efficient at high speeds. The engine must be run at high speeds if continuously loaded. Diesels are used for stopping and starting capabilities in heavy vehicles.
TL;DR: It's complicated.
I think rail could be electrified but it already is something like 7-8x efficient over road trucking. Gov needs to stop subsiding inefficient forms of transportation.

You can buy and provision Java cards (nfc/contact) with nostr signing code. This would work well for mobile. Tap to post is good for users who need a high level of nsec protection.
There is no desktop browser API for sending raw data to a smart card that I know of though. There might be ways to do it by leveraging other standards in an unintended way. Or perhaps a native companion app that exposes an API to webapps.

Bitcoin does not fix everything. However, it fixes a problem for those who do not want undue taxation and regulation of their wealth. Many people have this problem.
By using Bitcoin, these entities take market share away from current values and replace them with Bitcoin's honest ledger.
This natural shift to the most sound form of money will restructure society to promote meaningful change. Remember - most people are inherently good natured.
People think that their degrees mean something are really just the people enabling more grifting. We will not be in a better place until real contributions are rewarded more than actions that support the establishment.
