@nprofile…g80s oh no, all I've been doing lately is hitting up projects and trying to fix them so I can keep having fun with my 'puter. I was thinking of bringing up https://c3-lang.org/ in that other thread about alternative C-like langs earlier but got distracted looking into Jai. The only C(++) project that I would jump back into would be an ESP32 project, but that's really back burner rn and it would probably be a pain to try and get any alt-C running there. I should probably just keep getting familiar with the OG langs. I'm not really a dev, I wouldn't say I "know" programming
This "heisenbug" is in i3 that's been a daily annoyance over the past few months. Someone else finally posted an issue, but as soon as I got around to building it... it hasn't shown up since (both old and new builds ofc).

But there is one bug and patch I'm sitting on because it's beyond me, I guess one option would be creating an issue and sharing what I do know (backtrace and where the crash occurs) and leave the patching up to the guy who wrote the original code

I'm honestly not too worried, I did install pi-hole recently, so maybe that had something to do with it (x to doubt) but whatever, things will settle down eventually or my worst nightmare will come to fruition :abyss:

@nprofile…zv6v I still haven't tried ChatGPT, only other corpo LLM I've tried is Grok and I hope it's the worst at that stuff. Last time I checked it's so verbose it followed the "tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, tell them what you told them" pattern exactly :(
