Yep.
There's actually a literature on the subject. The simplest probably best short one is called 8 lectures on Yoga, by Aleister Crowley.
Its pretty awesome and gives great intro for a western mind. There's also Raja Yoga by swami Vivekananda. Both great works that direct you further,while giving simple (explanations that is ;) ) techniques right there and then.

Easy to say when your city is not being shelled by bombs and you're not watching dead ppl who were your close and far friends, family, friends of families or just ppl you've previously regularly seen on the street when you used to buy bread in a local store. It might be 'slavery' to the system but such things become abstracted from most ppls heads when they are being slaughtered by a bunch of maniacs who have been propagandized into thinking that their killing and destruction on a foreign land is 'anti Nazi' or some other bullshit. The sad reality is that once Russian solder realizes where he really is and what is he fighting and realizes he has nothing to do with any of it, It's too late. If he starts resisting he's thrown into one of the pits in the ground or just simply sent to the front lines where he dies in a day or two. And yet his mother in Russia thinks he died heroically defending poor innocent Russians... Its astonishing how little they know. As for Ukrainians... Idk... But what else can they do but defend themselves as hard as possible? Or would you suggest they shouldn't give up and so should each and everyone of us when some bully attacks us?

nice leftist talking point usually spoken from a safe country. But in my country we 'resisted' the dollar for 45 years without the bombs. We just became poorer and poorer every decade until it ended in hyperinflation and banknotes with zeros higher than in Weinmar germany. The bomb did started to fall though, but only when some of us had enough of that crap and wanted to join the civilized world of capitalism. Currently I see the sami_sane path forward thusly: nostr communication layer, btc store of value. Monero has a very legitimate place as well because of its fungabilty and privacy which isnt accebile to btc. Its a shame so many ppl in btc scene who should get it still can't see the value of xmr as well.
So i think the solution for the future is tek combo of btc plus xmr plus nostr.
