I don't like socialism and I don't like Maduro. But to just agree, that the election is a fraud, is not ok in my opinion. So where are the international observervers, where are the results of a repeated vote count? And especially, if Blinken says that it's the "American-backed candidate" I become sceptical. And if the actual result is right (who knows?), then it's a coup, not a revolution. But what do I know? Just saying.

Have seen it so many times in Egypt. Even with European women, after they've married an Egyptian. After they got their first baby, the husband gets all power, because she cannot leave the country with her kid, if he doesn't allow it. So he can blackmail her and very often he does. But why does it happen? It's the same reason, you described. After the men is married, the (male) society expects that his (European) wife is acting like an Egyptian women. Wearing traditional clothes, doesn't talk to other men and so on. So the society pressure on him is so strong and if he's too weak to resist, he starts acting like this not loosing his face against his friends and family. Very sad and painful.

GM Lyn. I used to live in Egypt for 7 years. Met some of the people, who have been involved into the new government city. (business partners of my best Egyptian friend). At that time I was involved, building one of the biggest sport centres in Cairo (Rehab). These people were so corrupt, that I couldn't work for them. What's the MIC for the US is the Building Industrial Complex for Egypt. I've seen EU supported street networks for a "town" without houses in the dessert. Schools for Bedouin kids without teachers. And many other things. Unbelievable.

Yes it is. But I'm not a dreamer. I am living here since 5 years and found out that there is almost no crime here, cause the government doesn't differentiates. Troublemakers or criminals in any kind have to leave the country. Except Cypriots. They are going to jail. It doesn't mean, that the government survey you. But the police is functioning well. Drug dealers, thief's and so on have no chance here.

I guess you're right. Here in Northern Cyprus it's like in Ukraine. Exchanges every few miles. Go in, change, go out with a bag of cash. No-one cares. And the best. A lot of Ukrainians living here together with Russians, Turkmenistans, Kasachstans in Peace. Nice to see. Where I've lived the last 5 years, there are around 6000 all together.

European and US leaders slowly going nuts. Tldr the NATO and most western countries saying, they are allowing Ukraine to attack facilities deep inside Russia with Attacams cruise missiles. Russia warned them not to escalate because everybody knows, that these types of weapons can't be handled from Ukraine alone. It needs satellite support and highly trained personal from western countries. So Russia responded to retaliate globally if necessary if this gonna happen. This could really be an escalation stage, we haven't seen since the Cuba crisis. The US saying, they are not part of it, but they are and everybody with technicall knowledge knowing it ass we'll.

Vielleicht, weil Liquid ihren Firmensitz nicht in den USA haben. Und vielleicht weil die nodes global verteilt sind. Vielleicht werden die USA ja versuchen Druck auf andere Juristiktionen auszuüben. Aber ob jeder Staat sich beugen wird ist fraglich. Ob die Miner die USA verlassen werden ebenso, denn die schütten ja auch Rewards an Miner mit non kyc aus. Alle Node Betreiber mit sichtbarer US IP Adresse müssten abschalten oder umswitchen. Usw. Usw. Entweder alle verlassen irgendwie das Land oder die USA beugen sich dem wirtschaftlichen (Lobbyisten) oder politischen (Texas, etc.) Druck. Ob nun Liquid oder Bitcoin. Das macht gerade kaum einen Unterschied. Denn Lightning und Mining sind auch in Bitcoin schon extrem industrialisiert. Auch wenn Bitcoin am Ende auch ohne die USA und die EU trotzdem weiter existiert.
