It is optimized for time to market and low cost. JS devs are a lot cheaper than the alternatives and the output (crappy and bloated as it is) runs ok-ish on most platforms without much effort if you have a new-ish fast computer with lots of cores, an SSD and 32+GB RAM, which most of the developers and execs ofc do.
The end user on the other hand often uses a device that's a lot slower and/or older and are often running lots of these turd apps at the same time eating up ressources and bogging their system down.
Fuckers should be forced to use a 5 year old laptop with 4GB of ram a few days a week 😆

If you have one UTXO with 1 BTC in it and you split it into two 0.5BTC UTXOs (ignore fees for now), which one of the two new UTXOs contain the first satoshi from the original UTXO?
From what I understand ordinals/runes just adds some "lens" on top the UTXOs where they get to decide what they think happens to sats as UTXOs are spent and new ones are created.
(Could be wrong, haven't looked too much into the NFT bullshit)

Can confirm it's bad in Europe, friend of a friend got kicked out of his bank when the bank teller asked him what he needed 3k EUR for and he responded "hookers and blow" in an attempt to be funny.
Banks don't have a sense of humour it seems.
Funny enough that very same bank has been caught and fined multiple times laundering money for big clients and advising them on how to evade taxes...
