> we have a Liberal government
25 years ago many words have long estabilished meaning that got stolen, perverted, defaced, or reversed.
Most, if not all, governments now are oligarchic. Most, if not all, politicians are thoroughly invested in interests of their sponsors, and their pay for promoting them. Only the thic of the veil still varies.

Neither do I. The origins of Hittites as far as I had read through my interests in the Hittite's journey phenomenon still are a mystery. And I came to those interests by the Code of Nesilim path. We know it is a compilation of civil and criminal law as observed by society then – not a some genius lawmaker's work. It hints at much older culture and we know that this distinct culture had moved in. While the earliest record of the Code of Nesilim dates to the Old Kingdom period about 1650 B.C., its tablets refer to still earlier versions.
So I got that fleeing thought about connection between the possible almost-extinction of North Europe’s population and the Hittites’ still unexplained choice of Hattusa locality. Harsh, but not that much for the people accustomed to Northern/Central Europe climate then. There is a ~500y gap, but this gap is to the written records we have, not to the Hittites people moving in a new area.

I'm curious if there's a connection between this and the Hittites' emigration from Europe...

LGTM (docs) for rusty spinning plates.
Do not believe any tool that is not running in the solid state memory uC can "wipe everything". Either your nVME vendor supports sanact 4 (erase keys) or sanact 2 (blocks purge) and you trust them to do so, or not. And those are better to be issued by the vendor cli tools.
In case of classified data better start with 4, then 2 then you should fry your secrets and grind what's left :)) My 0.02PLN

Depressing, yes. But we should regard this as a law of nature. It had been working in this way a thousand years before Polybius described this principle as the cyclic model of political change. Two thousand years have now passed since the ink on his Histories dried, and anacyclosis theory has proved accurate, take or add a one human generation per cycle.
P.S. Back in the early nineties I was pondering on the concept of "responsible democracy": abandon the secret ballot in favour of an informed choice and an open ballot. The elections' winner, in addition to the duties associated with their office or seat, has a constitutional right to take possession of any property belonging to their voter, and if the voter has no property – to demand personal service from them at a place and time chosen by the politician they have elected. With severe penalties for those who do not submit to the politician they have chosen. A person who abstains from voting has the same obligations towards every politician chosen by others.

> How much longer ... empty promises?
"Promised twice is as good as done once" (as one of the politicians here rightly pointed out).
For a conditioned by social media rush voter it does not matter whether party delivers, they at most pay attention to what's being promised. And that usually for a while, on the eve of the elections. For most of the depoliticized cohort delivering on a promise is enough for them to _stop_ vote party that delivered.
In other words: fulfilling campaign promises discourages voters from voting for that party again.
Populist politicians spotted it.

Congratulations! Lucky you! Now it is in a very good shape. Frequency meter (and paper tables) can now help with tuning, but uh, if it has original strings, it need to be done slowly, a few strings at once, at distance, – to let frame adjust to the tension. Wonderful tech :))

> old saying goes [...]
How old this saying is?
I specifically used "for me" qualifier, aware of the different meanings of the "conservative", especially considering how perverted this meaning became for the self-identified or purpoting to be conservatives' deeds of the past decades.
For me, the conservative thought is rooted in the Polish Constitution of year 1505:
"Whereas general laws and public acts pertain not to an individual but to the Nation at large, wherefore at this General Sejm held at Radom we have, together with all our kingdom's prelates, councils and land deputies, determined it to be fitting and just, and have so resolved, that henceforth for all time to come nothing new shall be resolved by us or our successors, without the common consent of the Senators and the Land Deputies, that shall be prejudicial or onerous to the our Republic or harmful and injurious to anyone, or that would tend to alter the general law and public liberty."...
The key phrases "without the common consent", "that shall be prejudicial or onerous to the our Republic or harmful and injurious to anyone".
Evolution, not revolution. Consensus, not Dictat. As our ancestors knew well that each revolution afflicts the state by awakening demons in those who fear the freedoms of others the most.

The almost accurate data of any public gathering is avaliable to prying governments since at least 2010. This can be measured simply by set operations. We have the set of IMEI numbers seen at the place, then we substract IMEIs known to that place yesterday in the same time window. Then we can filter out passerbys using hand-off data. With march moving past three or more coverage boundaries hand-off data is enough to get at +/- 0,1% accuracy.

It would be interesting to overlay this chart with a line showing the earnings of property developers’ owners and executives (perhaps in red, dotted red) as well as the profits of funds preying on soon-to-expire leaseholds (orange). Give both scale to the right, in in £bn. :))
Next should be the explanation of the invisible presence in valuation of commonhold properties being that thin line bordering year's scale. Did count of commonholds crossed the magical number of 200 yet?

we might reflect not on "the hopelessnes of the investigation". We must start to asking question "WTF why there were NO investigations". Because what we see were no investigations, just evidence gathering for keeping victims silent and papers were meant to go to the deepest cellar.
All we see in tip of the TrumpFiles, released by the single person: MTG, tells us that once "theory" about deep conspiracy of the pervert elites now has irrefutable proof. Now the smoke screens erected on both sidesof the aisle lead crowds to the cliff. They go there chanting "impeachment", 25th.
What I want is to see every FBI director since the first report indicted. Then every field office brass too. Then every politician who was silent. Then. Were they not complicit, we would still have a democracy.
PS. In my dusty memory of the ancient paper press I can find a similar murderous pedophile ring, just boys oriented, protected by the Henry Kissinger. IIRC it was Chicago, late sixties/early seventies. (I Need to dig for it while I can recall the scraps).
