The game I'm working on is a science fiction setting on the moon, where you, as a robot, will solve various energy-related puzzles. A conveyor belt can act as a timer, while an object on it is moving, you have time to do something. Or an object on the belt can interact with the environment while you are doing something else. It's quite logical and easy to imagine. From this I wanted to make a treadmill that would create energy when you move on it.
