But how exactly does the EU's socialist transformation and economic destruction machine work?
Climate apocalypse, overregulation and permanent interventionism - these are the core characteristics of the European Union's policy. Its attempt to cover up its own energy poverty with Net Zero CO2 alarmism and to force the world into its own production scheme has failed, as today's sad verbal attempts to put President Donald Trump in his place before his re-election show.
The EU's Green New Deal, core part of the destructional agenda, is nothing more than the systematic undermining of the free market economy by the socialists in Brussels. In doing so, they are breeding their own core constituency in the ranks of entrepreneurs by a network of subsidies that create a never seen level of dependence.
A favorable side effect of this gigantic subsidy machine is that it buys silence from the opinion makers, especially when the damage of this policy becomes apparent, as the crash of the German economy these days shows. There is no rebellion in the business community, intellectuals keep quiet and the political apparatus dances on the ashes of the declining economy.
Of course the climate apocalypse is nonsense. And even in this scheme of thought, it would be useless to regulate an isolated economy like the German economy into the Stone Age.
Now that the shadow is falling over the eurozone, let's take a quick look at the numbers, at the monstrous machinations of the technocrats in Brussels who are cutting a swath of economic destruction across the continent. We can only hope that the Americans manage to keep interest rates up to put an end to this creepy green socialist experiment!

US: Probability Of Interest Rate Cuts Increases

On the labor market, rising unemployment figures and the reduction in full-time employment suggest that in the end the government will be the last man standing creating artificial fake jobs to save itself until the election date.
This increases the pressure on the Federal Reserve to make money cheaper again, to provide liquidity in the markets so that the threat of rising loan defaults that is threatening the banking system will be mitigated to a certain extent.
But despite all the anticipation of interest rate cuts, always remember: when the central banks panic and cut their interest rates, it is already too late, the economy is already deep in recession and things are going downhill. The illusion that you can operate macro-control with a complex economy is more than just stupid, it is the spawn of political naivety and petty childishness, a sign that economics as a science has actually not moved a millimeter forward in the past 100 years

Things are getting really bad for Germany these days: now the next bubble is bursting, namely that of the green mobility turnaround before the eyes of the chief ideologues. Car drivers are not professional ideologues but rational individuals who confirm what anyone who understands the market economy knows: if something has to be subsidized as heavily as the e-car, it cannot survive on the market and the illusion of a sham existence cannot be maintained in the long term.
A recent survey by "Kfz-Betrieb" reveals a significant issue in the electric vehicle (EV) market: over two-thirds of car dealers (68.7%) are refusing to accept used electric cars as trade-ins. More alarmingly, 51.1% of dealers report that these vehicles are almost impossible to sell.
The market for used EVs is so challenging that sellers are offering substantial discounts—averaging 27% off the original sale price—to move inventory, according to Focus.
Dealership Woes: Red Ink on Used EV Sales
Data from June 2024 shows 80.2% of dealerships losing money on used battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Of these, 61.1% face significant losses, while 19.1% report minor losses. An ADAC test corroborated these findings: gasoline and diesel cars fetched better prices on buying platforms, while EVs often received no offers or offers significantly below estimated values.
Small EVs Hit Hard
Even small electric cars, such as the Jeep Avenger PEV and MG ZS EV, have disappointing residual values. Schwacke's data shows a three-year-old small electric SUV retains just 51.5% of its value.
Despite a low supply of used EVs, demand remains weak. Interest is slightly higher for nearly new models (under one year old), but older EVs suffer from rapid technological obsolescence.
