Any idea what the tool is actually doing? I would be **very** suspicious of a tool that claims to securely wipe SSDs (a non-trivial problem if encryption is not used from day one) in a few minutes.

That is an interesting read but holy moly: 4 hosts with about 40 cores and ~300G ram in total for ~3000 users. That is way more than I am willing to commit.

Anybody having experience running a messaging service based on #xmpp or #matrix for approx. 1000 users?
I did deploy a #synapse (matrix) test install but was not impressed. Especially the federation feature consumed a lot of resources and the client experience was rather disappointing. Joining large rooms took ages even with the latest "fast room join" MSCs. Anybody having better luck with an XMPP deployment?
