Hey! Are their any #hardware savvy folks out there who can answer a technical question?
I'm working on #Yunohost's Storage managment API feature and now I want to add #SMART tests. #Udisks2 offers a simple API for adding functionality, but only for disks that implement the #ATA command-set.
Does anyone know if the two are closely tight or if there are cases of non-ATA disks that support SMART?

Je travaille sur la fonctionnalité Storage managment API de #Yunohost et là je veux rajouter les tests #SMART. #Udisks2 propose une API simple pour rajouter les fonctionnalités mais uniquement pour les disques qui implémentent #ATA command-set.
Est-ce que quelqu'un sauraient si les deux sont liés ou s'il existe des cas de disques non-ATA mais qui supportent SMART ?

When has it become so difficult to contribute to #Django? I remember back in 2021, my small fixes on admin opened and merged the same day.
Now I get my PRs openend for 6 months, reviewed by 5 different persons being nitpicky because of policy. I get my feature requests on Trac closed because "too niche". I get strong opposition on evolution proposition on the forum from old-timers…
I fear this project is suffocating…
