In this case stoping an imperialist invasion of a authoritarian superpower against a democracy would require equivalent force, and no shade to Burkina Daso, I don’t think 40 guys in a Land Rover is going to be up to it. In fact, very few countries have the expeditionary capability to intervene
Second, how would the UN authorize such any action against a permanent member with veto power? Especially when the permanent member will claim it’s an internal action.

Seeing Never Obsolete’s screenshot of Microsoft Encarta 96, I remembered that a version of Encarta had the earth spinning the wrong way. There was an official bug in the public Microsoft bug database about it.the joke at the time was that Microsoft was working on a way to reverse the rotation of the Earth so that it would match the animation.

I attended a UC Master Gardener class today at the library, and found out that several branches in San Jose have a seed library. You can just ask for the seed library, and they’ll bring out cases of donated seed packets for you to take home free of charge.

@npub1y7p…66re @npub1qmy…uj5c I like Star Wars, but my god, every story is the fucking same. Even the lore is just a cyclical rehash of the original trilogy, just swap the roles.
And somehow NO ONE notices this in the Star Wars galaxy even though they have the exact same designs. It would be like people looked at black flag, with white circle, and red swatika and said, “What are you taking about? These guys aren’t nazis! This doesn’t look anything like a nazi flag!”
And don’t even get me started about how everyone knows everyone.
