The merchants themselves are hoarding old goods. Previously, Hamas militias punished them, but Hamas is now unable to do so due to the ongoing Israeli occupation targeting them. They are rarely seen, while the occupation militias are stationed behind the Green Line, stealing aid. They have no control over the price increases; the merchants themselves are hoarding because there is no one to stop them.

I just go to the clinic, get IV fluids, and leave. The clinics here don't offer anything else. At least I'm thankful the clinic is close to the area. It seems the canned food affected me, as did the severe cold and flu I had—all of this happened at once and affected my health.
